    Your wording is wrong.
    You should add some outrage and urgency, suggesting these circumcision practitioners are sadistic paedophiles who are preying on your child next to mutilate, if you don't act quickly.

    Ritual mutilation or scarification for religious purposes is barbaric and against the liberal ideals on which the US was founded. It is a stark and irreversible violation of an individuals rights to have his body modified by his parents for no medical reason. I support a man's right to get circumcised but I do not support the right to force the procedure on infants simply because their fathers had it forced upon them. You will not see a law making it illegal for local governments to ban female circumcision because the groups that practice female circumcision have no political power, however, political power alone does not make something right.
