So what should the Democrats do now?

If ruling Democrats hold themselves to the high moral standards they impose on the people they govern, they would follow a simple process:
They would demand that Mrs. Clinton step down, immediately, and let her vice presidential nominee, Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, stand in her place.

Democrats should say, honestly, that with a new criminal investigation going on into events around her home-brew email server from the time she was secretary of state, having Clinton anywhere near the White House is just not a good idea.

Actually the runner up at the convention would become the candidate. He would then have to select his own running mate. The VP only replaces the P after there is a P and the P can't continue. OTOH, if the candidate with the most votes can't run then the candidate with the next highest votes runs.

If they were to replace her with Bernie Sanders now I would be absolutely delighted.
He's far from perfect but he's several orders of magnitude more palatable than either cheek of the Trumpton arse.

Okay, what nimrod thought early voting was a good idea? Couldn't we just have a long weekend at the beginning of November for voting?

Who didn't have Hillary's Classified emails and files? Heck, there are probably torrents out there. Heck, Hillery herself told the FBI she thought 'C' was just a sequence in the alphabet! She claims she didn't know it meant classified!

That's what this was. An independent investigation into the dark deep web to see if there were any files out there that could be linked back to her server. Which would indicate that it was in fact hacked. To bad they stopped after collecting a few files, not wanting to get caught with a storehouse of classified US documents themselves.
