When GlaxoSmithKline bought out NovaMin in 2009, its Oravive with 5% NovaMin touthpaste was discontinued, now its being brought back under GSK's Sensodyne brand.

"Sensodyne Repair & Protect" formulation will launch in over 50 European and International markets during 2011, is the first everyday fluoride toothpaste to contain patented NovaMin® technology, which is scientifically proven to repair* sensitive teeth by forming a tooth-like layer over exposed dentine to help continually repair and protect sensitive areas.

the 5% NovaMin toothpaste you have to purchase from your dentist
    Sensodyne® NUPRO® 5,000 ppm Fluoride Toothpaste with NovaMin®

A prescription toothpaste? The price isn't too bad, although who knows what the mark up will be. I'll probably need that though.

A successful clinical test study involving a dozen people found that those who rinsed with the UCLA-developed mouthwash just once over a four-day testing period experienced a near-complete elimination of the S. mutans bacteria.

Not much info on the UCLA mouthwash but these are other known ways to eliminate S. mutans bacteria:

Xylitol– a sugar substitute that also kills S. mutans, is already on the market in some toothpaste, mouthwash, & chewing gum products

    Viruses can target specific bacteria

An oral probiotic is available at all Walgreens in their mouthwash section, called TheraBreath Probiotics. It uses a blend of 2 oral probiotics (K12 + M18) to prevent tooth decay, bad breath, periodontal disease, as well as ear aches – http://www.therabreath.com/probiotics/.
