Following the Wokest Of The Woke Woksters

I thought I might put this in funny videos but it's not intentionally funny. I thought I'd put it in jokes because, even though it's serious, it's a joke.
But I think it fits best here because it's woke - and it's on the official Scientific American twitter so it shows how far the rot has progressed.

Oh dear, that's not only tragic but they appear to be flat out lying. How does this "two-sex model reinforce gender and racial divisions" in, for example, the animal kingdom?

What started off as a simple Hero's Journey tale in 1977 has been long bastardized under Disney ownership, but who would've thought we'd get Communist Lesbian Space Witches? That's exactly where The Acolyte Episode 3 brought and the Rotten Tomato score sums it all up.

lesbian witches.jpg

After Episode 2 it was sitting about 92% critics and 30% audience. After episode 3 dropped Tuesday night, it dropped to the above. "Critics" largely are shilling as hard as possible, but the audience isn't having it. 20% score, for a "Star Wars" property. Also keep in mind with RT "critics" needs to be said in quotes. After a few movies like The Last Jedi and Ghostbusters 2016 dropped, RT changed their methodology on how ratings work along with signing up dozens of "diverse critics", who are basically someone with a blog that has zero traffic just because they tick a few DEI checkboxes and promote "The Message" uncritically. So you get things like this all the time. The critic score implies one of the greatest things ever made while the audience score says it's the worst steaming pile of garbage ever filmed.
Me? You can't get any more "woke" than Communist Lesbian Space Witches that use The Force to have DEI Space Babies  I haven't watched anything with the name "Star Wars" attached to it since The Mandalorian Season 2.Disney actually built some goodwill with the 1st two seasons of that show. They even squandered that goodwill with Season 3 and totally killed it with that ridiculous supposed Boba Fett spinoff show. This joke series isn't even a final nail star wars, that's long past. This is the final shovel of dirt on the coffin.
So, do you like the Communist Lesbian Space Witch show?

It's dropped into the teens on RT now. BTW if you think "Communist lesbian space witches" is just me being crude, no. That's the official narrative! Here's gay website Pink News talking about it.

Lesbian space witches are now an official, important part of Star Wars canon, thanks to The Acolyte

Newly-released Star Wars series The Acolyte just made a major change to established Star Wars lore – by revealing that lesbian space witches created life from the Force before Darth Plagueis.

Pink News got their talking points so this is the official stance. George Lucas is rolling over in his grave.

Boeing hitmen whacking whistleblowers? Nothing to see there, trust us! This is teh raelz pr0blem!

Pilot’s Union Suggests Changing ‘Cockpit’ to ‘Flight Deck’ for Inclusivity

In reality, the word “cockpit” is not derived from anything offensive or related to male anatomy — it actually first appeared in print in the 1580s to describe an arena used for cock fights, according to General Aviation News.

As centuries passed, the term evolved to become a synonym for “control center,” which was later applied to planes. In the early 1900s, the word “cockpit” was adopted by World War I pilots.

Ok it might not be the inclusivity mob which might be offended but I'm sure PETA will be

I dunno. Deck sounds a bit too much like "dick". And joystick sounds too sexual for female pilots to feel safe. I propose they rename joystick to "aeroplane controller handle" and cockpit to "place where the aeroplane controller person sits".

Chinese game, made for a Chinese audience that just happens to be popular in the west. Koolaid stained hair weirdos in the US are big mad it's a wild hit with no Black Rock DEI messaging!

Could go in the propaganda thread too like I posted about the game Dustborn. This one, just like Dustborn, was a garbage tier woke propaganda tool and not a serious game. It's just dripping with DEI garbage and woke pronouns as a focus, etc.

Of course the Liberal Media is twisting itself into a pretzel to try explaining away why the game is the biggest game failure of all time, giving every excuse in the book except the elephant in the room that people are rejecting "woke" propaganda.

Why Sony is shutting Concord down less than two weeks after its launch, explained

Bad launches happen. It’s part of the fabric of the gaming world at this point. Games get released and sometimes they just flop. It’s not great, but it is what it is.

Rarely, however, do we see a launch so bad that a game is pulled from virtual shelves. That happened with Cyberpunk 2077 because it was just incredibly buggy, of course. But, usually, the studio just takes the initial L on the chin and patches the game up over the next few years until it’s better. Sometimes, it comes out awesome like No Man’s Sky. Other times, there’s nothing you can do like with Battlefront 2.

But we don’t typically see a game pulled because nobody wants it. That’s exactly what happened to Sony’s Concord.

The company announced the game was being removed from the PlayStation store on Tuesday, just a little under two weeks after its initial launch. Players who purchased the $40 game were granted full refunds for it.

Supposedly across all platforms it has sold less than 25,000 units and currently has a player count about 20(!!!) people online. Sony had more than $100,000,000 sunk into this dumpster fire. All of these "articles" try to explain it away as while specifically avoiding reality. All you have to do is search Youtube and see the biggest gaming related content creators blasting it and explaining what really happened.

Woke Game PULLED After Losing 100 Million For Playstation! Concord Players REFUNDED After Disaster! <- Today

Seeing garbage tier propaganda severely damage major corporations warms my cold heart.

This kind of "We were the bad guys in WW2" patter is something I previously associated with what some would call "woke" lefty nonsense. As ever, the horseshoe ends of "Loony-Left" and "Crackpot-Right" are closer together than either would care to admit. Exhibit 23,876: a current GOP Senate Candidate:

Generally, when you have a fight, it's the bigger bastard that prevails. There's no referee in war. The side that has the most raw power has an advantage but the side that is willing to do the most extreme things has its own edge. The Axis committed atrocities but the Allies committed atrocities too. If the Nazis had won the war we'd all be Nazis now and we'd still think that we were the good guys and history would back us up.

OTOH it's not entirely obvious that the average citizen of Germany really had significant share in the blame of the atrocities committed by their government as we have little actual personal blame for the atrocities committed by ours. Citizens are often unaware of them (information is controlled) as most Germans claimed to be unaware, or powerless to change what their government is doing. However, after the war a massive psychological campaign was conducted by western governments against the German people to inculcate a national shame to keep the German population perpetually pacified. It has been effective. I have German cousins and they, at least among my age group, had definitely taken on that sense of guilt for which they couldn't possibly bear personal responsibility. It was akin to their "original sin" for which they had to atone. I wasn't too surprised to see the same sort of techniques being used now over slavery and"colonization" etc. but do wonder why our own intelligence agencies have allowed it - except that our ruling classes do not see themselves as a part of the people of the countries they rule over. This probably happens often when ruling classes have ruled long enough - the landed gentry, the "nobility" etc - and I feel that, much like in Rome when Christianity infected their ruling classes after festering and perfecting itself among the poor, that a new religion has made its way from the streets into the halls of power. I am perturbed. I was really enjoying the enlightenment.

Perhaps but only if the victorious Nazis would have buried any history that showed otherwise. "History is written by the victors" will only get you so far. Despite any such efforts to do so by what might be termed "our side" there are still plenty of historical accounts of "allied" forces behaving disgracefully, across not just WW2 but plenty of other wars - Vietnam being a particularly notable theatre for such. Nonetheless, trying to draw equivalence between US armed forces and the Nazis in WW2 is bogus and the domain of far-left and far-right cranks, most of whom by sheer coincidence "question" the holocaust and have that little bit of Jew-hatred that they can't quite hide.

People are remarkable incurious. They bury history themselves. It dries up and blows away on it's own except the bits that are carefully tended. Generally people are happy to believe the good stories about themselves and dismiss the bad ones or chalk the atrocities up to necessity. The other guy was always worse.

Both of you make points here. I'll just stay on the side with some popcorn :D

Right on cue, Kim goes a "history is written by the victors" step further than "questioning the holocaust" and blames the Jews for starting both world wars*.

*No, I haven't sat through the whole film to check but if the wikipedia page is even vaguely accurate, that's what it does.
The film also engages in historical revisionism to claim that Jews started World War I and II as part of a plot to establish Israel by provoking the Nazis into acting in self-defence.
