For Faethor - Coleman vs Franken vs Ventura?

Actually one interesting thing I've seen in National news is that Minnesota has come up as a state up in the air for the Presidential election.

Strangely local polls are putting Obama at a 14-18 point advantage over McCain. That may even below. The local news last night cited a recent poll where McCain was behind 26 points from Obama w/ women voters. Sorry didn't catch who gave this poll.

So I'm not sure why we seem to be 'up in the air'. Perhaps people believe the Republican Convention will build converts.

Jesse says NO." Ventura slyly left open the possibility of running if God spoke to him "

My understanding is he recently published a new book. So likely this all was a publicity stunt to drum up sales.

A short update...
Recent polls have shown in the last 30 days Franken has pulled ahead.
42%Franken
37%Coleman
14%Barkley

Coleman's recently run into some problems. Overly negative ads. Supporting Bush from day 1 on the economic bail out. Coleman appears to have been getting rent on the cheap, $600/month condo in DC about 1/3 of the price, and paid no utilities. Also appears to have taken some vacations paid by business associates and failed to declare them as gifts. He sees Dean Barkley as a threat and is now attacking the 3rd place independant candidate.

Franken has been doing well. Al did a good calculated response of I'm still reading the new plan... then a couple days later came out against it. Al handled the negative ads with satire, which is a strength of his. Al has been coming on strong and consistent.

I believe we have 4 or 5 debates between the 3 before the election, most if not all will be televised.

Now that Franken has pulled out front there is talk of the Dems taking 60 seats in the senate and removing the possiblity of the Republicans being able to hold up bills as they've been doing for the last 2 years.
