this is why I don't work in an office......if this was me....I'd walk away and get the info at my own station. Of course, I would be the most hated person in the office. Not that I care, but I'd have to leave that job eventually

this reminds me of a "joke" my grandmother told me about - during the war people would use pigeons to transmit information about The Enemy or whatever else was important. So the Germans made it illegal to own birds, or something like that. I mean if they caught you holding birds they would likely DO something BAD to you.....So one fellow wishing to get rid of the evidence that there was a bird around his place buried the bones in his window box. He put a little sign on it which read: Died for his Country.
