I vote for " Creator "
Who is and always has been that always will be, one that will judge with righteousness and truth. :D

I don't buy " High up in the sky " I think it's more of a dimensional thing; He is in another dimension say a fourth for conversation sake. That would explain how he is able to see past, present and future all at the same time. As well as cross great distance without moving which is necessary for omnipresence.

What a first post!

To bad Billsy isn't here or is he ?

Well... Wait a minute... There was a time when I might have agreed, but the fact is that "religious freedom means EVERY religion". If you guys, and he, could respect that tenet, then there's no reason you couldn't get along.

HOWEVER....

Based on reality, what would happen is that Billsey would come over here, say one little thing, and be slammed from every angle by everyone here who doesn't share his enthusiasm. In short, the perspective that "believers are nuts" means that Billsey or any religious believer wouldn't have fun here.

Hell, I accidentally did the same thing with Kovu (JamesR) here when the site first started.

i know what you mean, Wayne.
I'm not about to INSIST that anyone not be here. it's really none of my business.
and, hard as it is for some people to believe, I'm really very tolerant of most wackos.

hee hee.

On my visits to amigaworld, however, I have noticed a few threads in which billsey does his usual obnoxious proselytizing and gets his head slammed into the virtual wall. several times!

and not even by me!

by many others. MANY. (Including moderators. I think he had a one week banning last week. no kidding!)

I just know that if he comes here and tries the same nonsense it can turn ugly.
not that this wouldn't be fun for me. I'd love to torture him.

I just wouldn't want to torture you.

the problem isn't religion. it's the shove-it-in-your-face thing that he does.
I'll not put up with that.

just to be clear: my wonderful mother is religious. and we get along great. but she doesn't shove anything in my face. and I don't shove anything in her's.

it IS possible for a religious and a completely NON-religious person to be in the same house in peace. it's because we respect each other.

when some kook is proselytizing, he respects no one. he thinks HIS way is the only way. and I say....F you!
mind your own business.
