Hank Williams Jr. calls Obama Hitler & "the enemy", pulled from Monday Night Football

It has nothing with me not liking what he said. It has to do with him not being a great thinker. Everyone thinks to some degree, if that's all one needs then everyone's an intellectual and the word is meaningless. Like I said, he was a man of action. If anything I'd classify him an anti-intellectual as I would anyone who advocates book burning.

Just to further support my point; even those who AGREED with Hitler didn't think he was all that brilliant. From the wikipedia entry on Mein Kampf:

Italian Fascist dictator and Nazi ally, Benito Mussolini, was also critical of the book, saying that the book was "a boring tome that I have never been able to read" and remarked that Hitler's beliefs, as expressed in the book, were "little more than commonplace clichés."

Which is what I was saying. Just because he wrote a book and kept repeating his "philosophy" doesn't mean he was a great thinker. Sigmund Freud, which you labelled as a wonk, was a far better example of an intellectual than Hitler. Sigmund not only came up with some unique ideas, he also debunked many of his own as well. If he lived longer he may have debunked more. Where as Freud would refine his ideas over time, Hitler cherry picked ideas and arguments strictly to support his own. You simply can't compare the two.
