Hello...

Hi guys :) I was wondering about bloodline/Matt too :-/

What about KennyR or iamaboringperson?

Ooh, and Chris (nofastmem/TPG), anybody heard from him?

Is that same Chris as "That Punk Guy"?

I still have a CD of his music; some good songs on there.

Aye, he certainly did. He was also very helpful to me when I was trying to get my first Pegasos motherboard to work.

Actually yes, I do quite like this forum :)
I retract this comment due to my recent discovery of "Facebook Integration" in this forum software. I demand Whyzzat is immediately migrated to Xoops. Karlos, hop to it, there's a good boy. :p

What did he say?! He sent me a PM after I posted a rather long message about him but, well, meh...

Unfortunately the ignore function doesn't really cut it, as the disruption still occurs even if you can't read his responses :-/
I'd be more than happy to post his email here - I just want to make sure it's the right thing to do. I normally don't as these are considered "private".....but...well, we can discuss it and see.
he does make a feeble attempt to insult my American accent. Something I find kinda funny since I make no bones about HAVING one. And in fact for years have made many a joke about it. So, he failed miserably in trying to "hurt" my feelings.
I just found it ridiculous.
and he goes on about other nonsense......which may be revealed here if all allow it

Can I bring my a.org post count please? :)

(Late) Welcome to Whyzzat Moto! Have not been on too much this weekend so sorry for the late welcome! This is my main haunt nowadays and actually has been for a while.

We all get along here despite some sharp political back and forth. Prepare yourself for the politics side of Whyzzat. ;)

It's definitely dubious netiquette to post email in full without the author's consent. However, if it is some form of personal attack from a complete stranger and not some sensitive/private communication I don't think any of the above privacy/IP issues apply. Anyway, I doubt anybody would care (including Franko).

No different to the old CH/DMZ then ;)

oh, it's DEFINITELY an attack - I mean it's meant to be insulting. I don't think he succeeds, but that was 100% his intent. He is not passing on any secrets, including his low IQ. Anyone who has read his comments on AO will not be surprised but this email. It's just that he makes it personal to me. And for a comment I made (on AO) which was about as innocuous as one can make. especially for me :D

The word "like" in the Facebook context feels weird to me. It's as though "like" becomes something which is done to people and things rather than being just a state of mind. The verb subject is therefore cast as an agent (which deiberately carries out an act of "liking" rather than an experiencer, which passively experiences an emotional state), and the object (the thing that is liked) becomes more objectified, like a patient (which changes state as a result of the verb). It's strange, as if the verb becomes "more transitive".

Next thing you know, we'll be using "Whyzzat" as a verb...

The main thing is that he didn't get under your skin, though I really should have known that would be practically impossible :)
