I am joking, but there is a lot of truth here. Obama was a student of Marxism, friend of Communists and believes in the idea of "spreading the wealth". It would probably be more accurate to say Obama has governed as a Socialist.

Spreading the wealth is absolutely necessary for capitalism to work. If you don't then you end up with a few players cornering all the wealth and that is more like fuedalism. The founding fathers were quite adamant on spreading the wealth by making sure that monopolies got broken up and the rich couldn't just leave everything to their kids.
A free market only works efficiently between peers. When a few players have most of the wealth it distorts the markets and destroys the economy.
Besides - I have no idea what you are worried about - you don't have any wealth - you would win under wealth spreading.

No, I would not. I know what the inside of the welfare office looks like. You want to see "spreading the wealth" would look like? Watch a documentary about how commoners lived in Soviet Russia.

You have about the same amount of wealth as they guys in the welfare office. Let's say that with the equity in your home (and assuming that it's free and clear so couldn't all disappear in a couple of missed payments) and you have some good retirement savings, cars, jewelery, gold and silver and some stocks - assume you have a net worth of $1.5 million. Compared to someone like David Koch you have less than 100th of a percent of the wealth. So does the guy on welfare. You are so much more like welfare guy than you are like the elites.
