I have a small announcement to make...

Thanks. Yes, she amazes me so much. I look at her pretty face and tears come to my eyes. I could never have asked for anything more.

Already said it on Facebook but it can't hurt to say it twice:

Congratulations! :pint:

Ok, I made another video. Yes, it involves Sophia. Yes, it shamelessly rips off 2001: A Space Odyssey. Yes, it's very nerdy of me. No, I don't care. :D

I love that 'Jumping Jimmy' or whatever it's called (that thing your daughter is jumping around on at the end of the video). My nephew enjoyed his at that age.

he is now in college and has completely outgrown it a good 20 years ago.

enjoy it while it lasts :D

Sophia loves that too. It's called the Jolly Jumper. She does this new thing now where she'll doze off while in the jumper, then wake up and jump around for a bit, then doze off again.... funny. We don't let her sleep in that of course, but it's funny to watch her stand there in a daze, then eventually the eyes close, then her head droops, and then she's jumping again. :D

Congrats! It only gets better from here. As time passes and she grows, you will become a somewhat different person. You have to be a parent to understand and you probably already know what I mean:) There is no other feeling in life like holding your child for the first time. That feeling never really goes away.

Now to work on having your next 3 kids so you can catch up to me;)

my friend just made this new video staring his very talented daughter

is your child driving yet ? :p

we spent all day doing glitter and glue... when the glue is dry ill share the pics... i love that the little girl is driving a dumptruck!!! hahahhhaha:D

nothing is more universal than films about children and animals

Kids are amazing. I was floored when our little one started spontaneously playing peekaboo with us. It was when we were at the grocery store and I guess she got bored in the car seat, so she grabbed the blanket and lifted it over her head and then dropped it back down, just as we would do to her when playing peekaboo. We didn't expect that she'd do it to us, but I guess she really loved that. I think all babies do that, but I just wasn't expecting that. It's so cute.

Also, listening to her vocalize is lots of fun. I'll have to get some video.

Here's a photo from February:
