If it's a choice between having Congressman Weiner's "help" on the "real important problems that have to be solved" or having Rep Weiner tweeting his privates round the to every coed in the country, who, for whatever reason, has thusfar chosen not to involve the law enforcement authorities, but for himself, track down and bring to justice, "the hackerz" who simultaneously broken into his Twitter, Facebook and y.frog accounts, I say, "tweet on, Weiner, tweet on."

We have real problems such as Priests molesting kids who in turn never stepped down. Instead the church moved them around and increased their victim count. A picture of a cock isn't horrid. And especially since this was two consenting adults. Bill Mahrer and Jane Lynch read the transcript from the texts. The woman on the other end appeared to me to be a willing participant.

And of course interesting Metalman is collecting the pics. I think he bought stock in kleenex too.

plus, he doesn't appear to be FORCING anyone - of course, i haven't examined this in great detail unlike some people who seem to be obsessed in a stalkerish way :D

plus, this behavior is something billions of people do. the reality is that many americans are just uptight wacko hypocrites and the topic is boring.

In 2007, Anthony Weiner was the lead sponsor on a bill that would to require sex offenders to register their e-mail and instant message addresses with the National Sex Offender Registry.
“Sadly, the Internet is the predator’s venue of choice today,” said Weiner at the time. “We need to update our strategies and our laws to stop these offenders who are a mere click away from our children.”

At least he recognises the need put in place such protections, even if we both know such an attempt would be ultimately futile.

And to the best of my understanding, most predation of children is still done by "friends" of the family.

The press has spent too much time on this. They question if this is acceptable but all rush forward with the unquestioning beating of war drums to attack nations, eg Iraq, which didn't attack us. The Press has shown themselves to be a fairly worthless lot.
