A woman can get a restraining order because the "tone of your voice" makes them "afraid"

Then once the restraining order is issued, you can be arrested for violating the restraining order when going to her home to pick up your children for visitation.
 
Agree with all of the above and would perhaps reinforce it by mentioning that the last time I went through a break up that involved the transfer of ownership of a house, it was all going smoothly and amicably until my ex-partner's lawyer started sending me letters containing financial demands and threats of legal action.

She eventually sacked him and after awhile we managed to see eye to eye again.

Short update. Things are progressing I hope to have a court date established by mid-Oct. Perhaps I could even get this done this year.

Now onto shrinks for the kids...

Fill their heads with crazy theories? I hope you are joking. There are a lot of really good reasons to keep kids away from shrinks, especially right now. Kids just want to feel safe and break ups make them feel insecure. They don't need to introspect, they just need to be reassured.
 
Mostly joking. I've lined up resources and contacts and understood their availability. The kids are young enough that I think the reassurance and love will be the majority of what they need. And probably some good time with blank paper and crayons to draw it out.
