Merry Christmas!

To honor Metalman's comments our Solistace celebration was great. It's amazing how celebrating a real occurrance can bring a family together. No need to play make believe as a group of adults.

No Festivus for you?
Festivus works too!

After the stress of the last four X-mas, I am inclined to agree. I may have to pass on feats of strength, but airing of grievances sounds good.

After the travel chaos in the UK I had my first Christmas away from my parents ever. I went down to my Sister's and her husbands place instead and had Christmas there. Went pretty well actually.

Then we all went over to Norn Ireland for the delayed boxing day and had in effect a second Christmas.

So actually it worked out pretty well this year.

I had a wonderful christmas.

My nephew finished his first college semester with marks in the 90's, My mother was thrilled with the Renata Tebaldi CD I gave her, my aunt loved the new phone/ans system i gave her and we had a great meal together.

and things are improving for me. which means the economy will improve for everyone else eventually. it always works that way.

NPR last night had some survey/poll, I forgot where from, that indicated 72% of Americans believe 2010 will be an economically better year than 2009. IMO with that much positivism the economy can't help but improve.

i'm not assuming 2010 will be better, i'm saying that as i freelance and I have gotten more work THIS year that things are better for me. I make no predictions. However, I have noticed in the past that when I am doing well things begin to get good for those above me on the economic scale

Sorry I live in an area of the world that's German and Scandiavanian. Passive Agressives only here.
