I would not make a big deal out of it. but my titled "Top 5 worst people of all time." The top three, in order, are Adolph Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, and Charles Manson. Numbers four and five are Barack Hussein Obama and Jimmy Carter.
exactly! the economy is A Direct result of bush part 2 and his mismanaged war (Iraq) and being in the pockets of the banks (who joyfully continue to {bleep} over every American even as i write). You'll put Obama on said list but not George W. Bush (who caused almost every problem we're facing today)? Really?

Blackwater continues to commit crimes.
Torture, incompetence......
I have to say, with the exception of Hitler, the rest of your choices are an utter joke.
Joseph Stalin, Benito Mussolini, Chairman Mao, Francisco Franco, Pol Pot, Kim Jong Il, Kim Il Sung, Idi Amin, Robert Mugabe, Slobodan Milošević...I could go on.
Are you seriously going to try to compare either Carter or Obama to the above people? And Charles Manson, whilst a monster isn't in nearly the league of the above lists. Even Bin Ladin comes off as weak sauce in comparison to the above.

sorry, dude, but we are STILL living with his f*u*c*ked up mistakes and incompetence.....the effects just don't go away because he's retired (officially, as opposed to being on vacation while in office).Uuuh, Bush has been out of office for a few years now. At some point you will have to stop blaming Bush and point the finger at Obama.
True that economy messed up so badly under Bush's watch, but Obama created a disaster on the economy. I have faith that US will recover.sorry, but bush and dickless torture lover messed up the economy so badly even in 2008 I never expected the US to recover anytime soon. It may never recover. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

@red
That list is a scandal. Cheney beats Manson on every conceivable metric. I say someone was paid off.
that's just naïve.True that economy messed up so badly under Bush's watch, but Obama created a disaster on the economy. I have faith that US will recover.
That could very well be, but it by no metric does Cheney beat the list but together by the_leander.
that's just naïve.
as leander pointed out, bush/cheney sent a snowball down the mountain and by the time they "retired" this HUGE ball was careening down, knocking out homes and people with abandon. Blaming Obama because his efforts to slow down this massive ball is just disingenuous. Contrary to what the idiots think, Obama can not perform miracles. And he can only do so much when others are actively trying to keep that Ball rolling down.
So I put the blame on those who did the deed.
Having faith and do nothing is nonsense. I have faith that the people will find a way to recover.cecilia said:and, I have no use for "faith". it's all nonsense. You either fight for what is right or just give up and die.

You brought out about the housing and that had nothing to do with the Bush. That blame goes on the FED (BTW not a government, but a private bank), the banks loaner, and the people who could not make the loans. All three are at fault.
BINGO!!!Totally had nothing to do with bush stripping back regulation then, eh?
To be fair, the UK also had the same issue - effective regulation was stripped away by Labour over the years and the light touch regulations they put in place (to a great deal of fan fair, I should add) was simply incapable of understanding the dangers the sub prime market presented.
