In Russia’s Chechnya, Over 100 Gay Men Arrested And At Least 3 Killed By State Authorities
A respected Russian newspaper says it has uncovered information that police in the southern Russian republic of Chechnya have rounded up more than 100 men suspected of homosexuality and that at least three have been killed.
The Saturday report in Novaya Gazeta said it had confirmed the information with sources in the Chechen police and government, but gave no details.
The report was denied by Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov’s spokesman, who suggested there are no homosexuals in the Muslim-majority region. Ali Karimov said, according to the state news agency RIA Novosti, “it’s impossible to persecute those who are not in the republic.”
The Kremlin-backed Kadyrov is widely accused of extensive human rights violations. He has brought Islam to the fore of Chechnya’s daily life, including opening what is called Europe’s biggest mosque.
Their lives don't matter because they don't fit any narrative. Not a peep will come from the LGTBQP Community, no feminists will express concerns. Your 5 O'clock news won't cover it.

Their propaganda is failing so completely, yet they forge ahead. Their downfall is they do not understand how online communities and social media work. Airlines now have the right to use police as jackboot thugs to beat passengers into a bloody pulp on a whim. This Asian's doctor's "crime"? He had patients to see in the morning and couldn't give up his seat for an airline employee.
United Airlines said they needed the seats for airline employees who had to be in Louisville on Monday for their jobs.

Why the Viral United Airlines Video Kept Getting Deleted From Reddit
Mods gave several reasons for deleting the clip, including that the video was “damaging to a corporation,” that it showed footage of “police brutality or harassment” (the so-called “Rule 4”) and that it could be construed as a “witch hunt” against United Airlines or the security personnel.
Not surprisingly, these excuses did not sit well with the site’s users, who erupted in a chorus of “{bleep} you, mods” and accused the airline of paying off the social network.
“Deleting this over a supposed rule 4 violation is laughable considering how many police brutality videos you can find on this subreddit by simply searching ‘police’ and then sorting by top,” CloudCityPDX wrote in a cached r/videos thread.

Reuters reported that Putin is willing to turn over a transcript of the meeting. A spokesman for Putin reportedly noted that the Russian government only had a written transcript of the conversations, and not an audio recording.
During a joint press conference with the visiting prime minister of Italy, Putin also accused U.S. lawmakers of "stupid" and "dangerous" "anti-Russian sentiment" with accusations of sharing intelligence, the AP reported.
Putin said he had "no other explanation" for the allegations other than "political schizophrenia."
"Either they don't understand the damage they're doing to their own country, in which case they are simply stupid, or they understand everything, in which case they are dangerous and corrupt," he added.
The Russian leader also suggested that Trump was being hindered from doing his job properly. He said the American people will be able to judge Trump's performance as president "only when he's allowed to work at full capacity."

We got in direct contact with Kaufman who told us, “The Elites want to police out all independent competition. Sundance has done it; now Cannes. Disney can wear masks and carry signs but not Troma! More $ and power going to the elite few! Cannes is a good metaphor for FCC killing Net Neutrality on the internet!
“They did put Toxie & our team up against the wall! Just like Law and Order! They threatened to take me in but only took info from my license,” Kaufman explains.

Apple has reportedly banned Pepe from the App Store, deeming it “objectionable content.”
According to CNET, the game “Pepe Scream,” which is available on the Google play store, was rejected by Apple.
“Your app contains images and references of Pepe the Frog, which are considered objectionable content,” an Apple App Review Board employee reportedly wrote to Spirit Realm Games, the developer of “Pepe Scream”, in the rejection notice.
“It would be appropriate to remove the references and revise the images in your app.”

Facebook Patent Reveals Plans to Collect Footage Through Cameras Without User Knowledge
The Daily Mail reports that social media company Facebook filed a patent called “Techniques for emotion detection and content delivery” to collect “passive imaging data” via device cameras that are not turned on, an act which experts are calling an “ethical minefield.”
The patent was discovered by CB Insights, a market intelligence firm based in New York, a CB Insights spokesperson said in a post, “On the one hand, they want to identify which content is most engaging and respond to audience’s reactions, on the other emotion-detection is technically difficult, not to mention a PR and ethical minefield.”
