As corporate media writes off talk of ‘pizzagate’ as if it’s some tinfoil conspiracy theory that couldn’t possibly happen, this scenario shatters their claims. In fact, Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim McDonnell says the arrests represent a “very sad commentary on the condition we’re dealing with.”

“Pretending this issue doesn’t exist only makes us more complicit in it,” newly elected San Diego City Attorney Mara Elliott said.

Are you perhaps joking? This has n-o-t-h-i-n-g to do with that ridiculous conspiracy theory about a Washington D.C. pizza restaurant.

Even the headline is misleading at best. Just because hundreds of people were arrested related to prostitution and human trafficking in general, not exclusively because of child molestation, this does not in any way prove the accuracy of allegations concerning a city that is located on a different coast.

There have been more child sex trafficking arrests since Donald Trump was inaugurated, than in all of 2016 under Obama.

For the state, that meant assuming the extraordinarily difficult job of parenting a young girl with a complex history of abuse, who was now a parent herself. For Jean and her daughter, it meant being consigned to the care of a state agency in turmoil, where kids — especially those who have suffered the greatest trauma — are at high risk of being lured into the sex trade.

Jean became one of the roughly 12,000 Texas kids in long-term foster care, or "permanent managing conservatorship," the state's designation for children who cannot find lasting homes with relatives or adoptive parents and are unable to be reunited with their biological families.

It is a system where, as U.S. District Judge Janis Jack wrote in a 2015 legal opinion, "rape, abuse, psychotropic medication and instability are the norm" and children often leave more damaged than when they arrive.

It is also a system from which many children enter the world of selling sex. Eighty-six percent of runaway children in the United States suspected of being forced into sex work came from the child welfare system, according to a 2016 analysis of cases reported to the National Center on Missing and Exploited Children. Of the 79,000 child sex trafficking victims estimated to be in the state, the vast majority were in foster care or had previous contact with Child Protective Services, according to a recent University of Texas study.

"It's very easy for a trafficker to prey on those specific kids," said Dixie Hairston, who leads anti-sex-trafficking efforts in North Texas for the nonprofit advocacy group Children At Risk. "Something is going wrong. These kids are not being kept safe."

Children taken into custody by the state represent a significant source of income for those employed by the state for “child welfare.”

In a recent report from Connecticut, for example, we see that 90% of children entering the system are NOT for abuse, but “neglect.” This is generally true in every state, and “neglect” is such a broad category, that we have seen children taken away from parents for disagreeing with a doctor over the care of their children, allowing the children to run around outside barefoot, taking a child out of school to start homeschooling, having a dirty house, etc.

Nine of the ten missionaries were later released but NLCR founder Laura Silsby remained incarcerated in Haiti. Her trial began on May 13 and the prosecution sought a 6-month prison term. On May 17, she was found guilty and sentenced to the time served in jail prior to the trial.

Since Donald Trump became President on January 20, law enforcement officials have reportedly made more than 1,500 arrests related to sex crimes ranging from human trafficking to pedophilia.

This report comes via DailyWire.com, which also reports that in all of 2014, there were fewer than 400 arrests made in relation to sex trafficking.

“This should be one of the biggest stories in the national news,” remarks Liz Crokin at TownHall.com. “The mainstream media has barely, if at all, covered any of these mass pedophile arrests. This begs the question – why?”
