Sounds like someone has fed you poison. Which propaganda mill are you getting this swill from?

My own brain. If the truth was a snake it would bite you. Do you really think there will be a constitutional amendment to separate business dollar from politics that will be clearly written in English and only be this goal?

OMGWTF! What a coincidence! What are the odds???

Do you think that is not a worthy goal?

p.s. the output of your brain is largely a product of its inputs, hence my question.

I gotta agree with Fluffy here. It's like saying you don't want the operation to save you from a terminal illness because it's too risky. It seems you have little to lose as the current system is doomed to fail.

We have laws on the book. We need to be enforcing these laws. We have a Constitution that has been ignored and minimized, if it was followed we would not have these problems. Going back to following the Constitution and enforcing the laws would fix everything. Shredding the Constitution and moving towards Communism is NOT the solution!

Well, there WERE laws on the books, but deregulation erased many of them. And those doing the erasing are still in a position where they can erase more. And they will.

You mean like those erasing them like Warren Buffet (D) who sucessfully pushed to repeal Glass Steagall and President Clinton (D) who signed the repeal into law?

Yes. Like that, of course - when Clinton (D) signed into law the Gramm(R)–Leach(R)–Bliley(R) Act.
How'd you like that bi-partisan alphabet soup?

What Fluffy said. Clinton certainly shares much of the blame, but so does Reagan.
