I wouldn't have used Ramones as an example, someone like Minor Threat or even Dead Kennedys would have been better.

I don't think the birth canal is the test - it's viability, generally, and that is arbitrarily demarcated by age. About 90% of babies born around 28-29 weeks will survive. It's 50-50 around 24 weeks, only 20% at 23 weeks. A lot of that survival is due to extreme medical intervention.
There are privileges to having been born and being alive, though. Dead people have greatly curtailed rights, and probably because of that, they have very poor prospects - nobody will hire them, for a start, and there is no legislation in place to increase the representation of the dead in the workforce (except in politics and the public sector of course).

And yet late term abortions are so common that 9 US states don't even have restrictions on when the abortion occurs, 3 more states allow up to 28 weeks and a further 26 more states allow up to 26 weeks. That's 38 states that allow any abortion of a child viable to live outside the womb. Furthermore "pro choice" activists want total elimination of any restrictions and as shown before, push abortion to several years after birth as a woman's "choice".

push abortion to several years after birth as a woman's "choice".
And plenty of people on the right would argue for abortion well into adulthood and not by the mother's choice but by the state.
