I agree defense is mandated. I disagree that we need over 600 military bases in 38 Countries around the world. And I disagree we need our large number of golf courses on those bases around the world. I also fully believe, the Founding Fathers would have disagreed with the militaristic imperialism we
see the USA partake in today.

Pax Americana? How absurb a concept. There has been no period of peace since WWII. The US has been in a constant state of war somewhere.

Things will be improving soon. Those slackers on unemployment are getting cut off. Soon they'll be out in the economy snapping up those minimum wage jobs or working for less than minimum wage under the table. Maybe it will kick some of those overpaid workers who get more than the minimum wage into the gutter - that'll teach them for getting jobs.
