Umm that 's because Obama isn't Marxist he's a slightly right leaning centrist. In several ways he's to the right or Reagan.

Never lived in ancient Rome either. Doesn't mean I can't know anything about it.Tell us all about your life time living down in the South what it's really like and what communities you lived in. Oh wait...
So, I'll ask you the same as I asked red. Which part of what I said are you disagreeing with? What of what I said is actually wrong and demonstrate that to me.You sure do know how to parrot the propaganda, how long have you lived in the South?
I think you'll find that many of the reporters have often leaned to the left but they tend to be educated. Management has moved further and further right over the years as media outlets have been bought and merged into bigger organizations. What the journalists end up producing is what the owners of the media corporations want (as enforced by the editors). Ultimately, if you are an employee it doesn't really matter what your own political views are, it matters what views you have to print so that you can keep your job. Thus the main output of the "liberal media" has been very supportive of militarism, the army, the troops, the arms industry - and has been supportive of the banking industry and the federal reserve and all things that will help keep the stock prices artificially high because that is where all the rich people have their money. The "liberal media" will also support tax cuts on the wealthy and won't spend a lot of time explaining to the people where that wealth came from and how the workers are getting screwed. You will see a couple of stories on that from time to time but that will simply be covering their bias so that they can claim to be balanced. If you actually count the left stories to right stories the "liberal medias" bias is plain to see. That's right, they are "Progressive Media" of CBS/ABC/NBC/CNN/MSNBC/Time/Newsweek/PBS/NPR/#? that is pulling the biggest con job in history. If you look at the percentages of media voting Obama/Kerry/Gore/Clinton, typically runs 80% or higher in every polling of media personal voting that I've seen for over two decades. The funny thing is they are all seeing massive viewer declines, no one wants to watch their progressive propaganda.
You are kidding right? Anyone who does not see Andre Carson's remarks for what they are (race bating) and agrees with them are one of the following: ...
LOL, what a misconception! When I moved to Texas in 1985, lots of people I met said they had never met anyone who was a Republican, almost all Texas county and state officials were then Democrats, remember "Gov Ma Richards" ? Jim Hightower?? Most counties never even had Republicans running on the general election ballot, the Democratic primary selected the officeholder.
Jimmah Carter and Ronald Reagan convinced southerners that they were not really Democrats anymore, but Republicans.
After the 1988 election had lots of people tell me privately, they switched and voted Republican for the first time ...
Travis County, Harris County and the counties along the Rio Grande are now the only place you still find Democratic Majorities, and that's only because of the constant influx of Mexicans who vote Democratic, because the Democrats give them "free stuff".

So when you say "What a misconception" what you mean is that you agree with what I said. The southerners were Democrats but then they changed sides.
So, in other words, you agree with me when I said the parties changed and the North and South didn't.South was solid Democrat until the Democrat Party started to alienated them with Progressive agenda back in the 50s. Problem for the Democrat Party, Southerns are conservative in nature and do not mix well with Progessive/Marxist agendas. That's OK, Progressives can keep the NE and West coast, conservatives will keep the farms and oil fields.
