Scotland one step closer to independence?

As an aside, the article says:
The fallout among independence supporters since the referendum has also prompted a rapid rise of support for the pro-independence Scottish National Party, whose membership has tripled to 75,000 since the independence vote two weeks ago, making them the third largest party in the UK.

According to Huffington Post it's now over 100,000.
This is quite remarkable, especially so from my own point of view as most pro-independence people I know wouldn't dream of joining that party, for various policy reasons. The "means to an end" angle must be strong here, methinks.
Scottish Green Party (also pro-indy) membership has also tripled in the last few weeks (was under 2,000, now over 6,000).

YouGov poll says 52% yes.
YouGov poll said 51% yes a week before the vote.
a) Not so impressive when you point that out :)
b) So YouGov is wrong or the vote count is wrong. I suppose it correlates with the young/old divide.

There's also the potential factor of people saying they would vote for it but bottling it when it comes to it.
