Southhampton cops searched her and found a legally owned rifle that she was transporting from a nearby rifle range. She contends a deputy sheriff arrived on the scene later and said to her, “I bet you are one of those Tea Party people.” When Genovese said she’s gone to Tea Party rallies, he allegedly said, “You’re a real right-winger, aren’t you?” and “You are a ‘Teabagger’” and then added that she’d be arrested for terrorism to make an example of other “right wingers.”

This cop is just doing the bidding of the establishment - harassing anyone who disagrees with the establishment and believes the constitution gives them a right to do something about it. Same goes for those Occupy Wall Street "hippies"/"socialists", whatever. And it isn't like they are directly ordered to do that per se, but the higher offices go to establishment loyalists and they create the culture in the ranks (with the full support of the media) including hiring like minded people. That's just human nature.

Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass. When you manage to remove your head from your ass watch the two videos I posted above on this page. I didn't think it mattered what the races of those involved were, what mattered where the circumstances and their actions, but it obviously race does matter to a racist like yourself. So for the record, what race were the officers in the videos, who were suspended and fired for abusing their authority, and what race were the victims?
 
So the city’s basically admitting that the NYPD is primarily a tool for extracting money from the citizenry in an arbitrary fashion.

I think that was crystal clear when the union said that in protest they were only going to conduct "necessary arrests". However, if they need to increase revenue I suggest that they go and write tickets to the people that actually have money. Let's see how fast the city comes down on the cops then.
