So, Tea Party members are the greatest threat to the USA?

It kept getting worse and worse with Bush really {bleep} things up in his last 4 years.

According to OpenSecrets.org, between 1988 and 2008 Dodd received $133,900, Kerry $111,000, Clinton $75,550, and Obama — in only 143 days in the Senate — received $105,849 from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Pennsylvania Democrat representative Paul Kanjorksi, who opposed new Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac regulations, was given more than any other member of the House of Representatives, $65,500

The problem was not deregulation, but new banking regulations that forced lenders to make loans they otherwise would not have made, "in the interest of fairness"

no. It was mostly deregulation and lax enforcement (no enforcement) of what regulations there were. The crisis was caused by greed and fraud in a regulatory environment with perverse incentives at a time when the investigators were sitting in their offices downloading internet porn instead of preparing prosecutions.

No Tea Party protest has ever lasted for so many days nor has any Tea Party protest been subject to so many groundless arrests nor has any Tea Party protest been subject to so much police intimidation and pepper spray.

Groundless arrests? Where you there with all the facts and saw it in person? And how well verse are you in NY laws?

If you have been following along you will know (and have seen the videos) which show that the protesters were scrupulously non violent but the police had no such scruples. Officer Bologna (yes, Bologna) may even be under investigation for his use of pepper spray on peaceful kettled protesters.
That the "liberal" media should mischaracterize those protesting against big money power as rioting is no surprise because hating protesters and loving rich criminal bankers is the natural bent of "liberals", of course.
By the way - those arrests were days ago. The protesters are still there on Wall St.
And here's a much more liberal reporter.

That's right. The media loves to report on the Tea Party but stays away from people protesting the banks in droves.

That's the Progressive's way of handing media manipulation. There are only so many minutes for them to do mass propaganda, why waste it on their own people protesting (which is damn useless) when they can demonize the Tea Party instead? It is not in their best interest to show their supporters as being idiots (and annoying the Global Elites who are apart of the media's food chain) when they can demonize their (and the Global Elite's) declared enemy which is in their best interest.

It was a combination of both. It was removing some of the protection against bankster's manipulation from the Great Depression Era which allowed the Global Elite to reap untold amounts of money, sucking the banking/financial system's dry. With the financial system so manipulated into a house of cards, Frank/Dod effectively chops the financial institutions off at the knees from making money in a legit way pushing the "too big to fail" to fail. Perfect for the over all plan of the Global Elites. Take all the money and let the husk roll over and die so they can come back and pick up it's assets for fraction of a penny on the dollar the stole in the first place. They will have full control over America without one bomb exploding, without one bullet being fired.

There was no riot.
You're quite right there Fluffy, I've seen no evidence of a riot. I was suckered into thinking that before I did my own research. Still, to make my point more generic, in past similar instances where there were riots it's usually 3rd party groups that have little to do with the actual protest that cause the problems.

The mess was started in the Clinton administration.
Clinton propegated the problem, but he did not start it. Deregulation was Greenspan's baby. The problem is it seemed to work for a while, but what presidents saw as prosperity was just a bubble forming.

Right, I have never said it started with Obama. It started long ago mostly as you state above. It kept getting worse and worse with Bush really {bleep} things up in his last 4 years. Just when you think it can't get worse, Obama swoops in and makes moves that trump all the stupid mistakes of the past combined.
What moves? More like stupid NON-moves. Obama should have fired everyone from Bernanke down and brought in a new fiscal policy built from the ground up. Instead he kept W's policies.

Under Bush we worried we were fucked. Under Obama we KNOW we are fucked.
Well that's your own fault, we told you that you were fucked with Bush but you just didn't listen and re-elected him.

That's the Progressive's way of handing media manipulation.
I guess that goes along with your feeling that Progressives are stupid. If that's how they think media manipulation works then you have very little to fear from Progressives because they clearly aren't competent enough to be a threat.

.................. Fact is the Great Depression ushered in WW2 and this will likely usher in another great conflict. Allan Greenspan and those like him should be put before a firing squad for treason.
if there ever IS such an event, give me a gun and I'll be happy to shoot that bastard (esp if cheney is among them)

Speaking of who is to blame for the problem - it's time to listen again to William K Black
