Suddenly vaccine skepticism has gone mainstream.

Unvaccinated are 5X more likely to catch delta, 11X more likely to die

Three fresh CDC studies show vaccines holding up against delta.

In terms of infections, fully vaccinated people were about 11 times less likely to get an infection in the pre-delta period, compared with the unvaccinated (with a 95 percent confidence interval of 7.8 to 15.8). That ratio dropped to 4.6 less likely in the post-delta period (with a 95 percent confidence interval of 2.5 to 8.5).

For hospitalizations prior to delta, fully vaccinated people were 13 times less likely to wind up in the hospital than the unvaccinated (confidence interval of 11.3 to 15.6). After delta, that ratio dropped slightly to 10 times less likely (confidence interval of 8.1 to 13.3). The fully vaccinated were 16.6 times less likely to die of COVID-19 prior to delta (confidence interval of 13.5 to 20.4) and 11.3 times less likely to die after delta (confidence interval of 9.1 to 13.9).

Ivermectin overdose death probed in NM: “I don’t want more people to die”

A second person is in intensive care, a health official with the state says.

"I'd just like people to know that—if there are people out there taking it—it can kill them."

At low doses, ivermectin is approved for use in humans to treat some parasitic infections, including intestinal worms and external parasites such as head lice. But the drug comes with serious side effects, such as severe skin rashes that can require hospitalization, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, facial or limb swelling, neurologic adverse events (dizziness, seizures, confusion), sudden drops in blood pressure, and liver injury, according to the FDA.

grifters are gonna grift

Driving the ivermectin frenzy is a cottage industry of advocacy groups, anti-vaccine activists and telehealth companies. Touting the drug as a “miracle cure” for Covid-19, these groups have rapidly risen to prominence, finding a fervent audience among conservative media figures, the vaccine-hesitant and people desperate to treat loved ones suffering from the virus.

Despite outstanding questions over ivermectin’s efficacy, several advocacy organizations have been on a nearly year-long campaign to mainstream the drug. Two of the most prominent groups backing ivermectin as a Covid-19 treatment are the UK-based British Ivermectin Recommendation Development (Bird) and the US-based Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC).

The best quote I've heard is that it's a lot easier to eliminate COVID in a petri dish than it is to treat the infection in a body. Bleach, Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin... All these can clean up a petri dish. It doesn't mean they do jack squat to treat a COVID infection in a human body.

And can sometimes make things worse. A wee bit more about Hydroxychloroquine:

Biden's coof jab mandate does not apply to executive or legislative branches of government.

Near death of anti-vaccine cardinal is an “irony of life,” says Pope Francis

Humanity used to be such good friends with vaccines!

Pope Francis speaking to journalists as he returned to the Vatican on September 15, 2021.

Pope Francis, well-known for his freewheeling conversations with journalists aboard the papal plane, yesterday called out COVID-19 vaccine resistance within church ranks as he flew home from Hungary and Slovakia. And he went straight to the top.
"Even in the College of Cardinals, there are a few 'deniers' ['negazionisti'] and one of them, poor man, is hospitalized with the virus," Francis told journalists on the flight, according to a translation of his Italian remarks.

Then he added, "Mah, ironia della vita…"
Well, the irony of life...

NICKI MINAJ EXPOSES MEDIA, BLASTS REPORTER THREATENING TO DOX HER COUSIN, FRIEND WITH THE SWOLLEN TESTICLES

Let's get this out of the way. You should NOT make medical decisions based on celebrities. Now, that includes celebrities telling you to stick a needle in your arm because "the science" says we're hashtag all in this together. It also includes celebrities telling stories about cousin's friend's testicles. Consult a doctor, not a singer. What follows has nothing to do with a certain v-word. It does however have to do with Nicki Minaj.

To recap, the pop star tweeted a story about her cousin's friend (allegedly) getting the v-word and having his testicles (allegedly) swole up. The left and the media (but I repeat myself) went bananas because Nicki Minaj is both a celebrity and a minority. She was saying something that wasn't approved by the left or the media. It's been an eye-opening experience for Minaj, and an example of how so many people get red-pilled. She found out what the left really thinks about people who look like her. Now she knows what scumbags people in the media are. A reporter threatened to dox her cousin over his friend's (alleged) swollen balls,

A reporter for The Guardian, after harassing her cousin, said: "Just letting you know, CNN is in the country looking for you. And when they find you, they won't hesitate to reveal where you live or where your girlfriend lives ... anything to anyone who is tied to you. If you speak to me, we won't reveal those details."
