Democrats Propose Bill to Prevent Trump from Launching Pre-emptive Strike on North Korea

Democrats proposed a new bill Monday — on the eve of talks between President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un — that would prevent the president from launching a pre-emptive strike on North Korea.

Amazing, that was a few months into Obama's first term when this was uploaded. That was almost a decade ago now. Fast forward to today, and this sort of thing seems to be happening on every single college university, at least in major blue states.

It is funny in some ways, but also very serious. Expect a Red Wave this mid-term.

I asked this question here a long time ago. Where is the point that you really are in the middle of a propaganda war? I'm fully convinced we are there.

Is Russia one of the countries stirring the pot? Of course they are. We've been messing with them for decades. This shouldn't be a surprise.

I'm quite sure Russia *IS* backing and boosting #WalkAway. Just as they are backing and boosting the #Resist nonsense. They bumped Trump and they bumped Hillary. You boost both sides to spread the dissent. It's textbook. In fact, the US wrote that textbook for unrest.

To me, the real problem is that there are not really any accurate news sources left. The established media players aren't so much free press as they are paid-for press. And the "populist" movements are all in a battle for eyeballs, too. But those eyeballs are limited to them by algorithms controlled by Facebook, Google, Twitter, and the like. And those algorithms can be easily gamed by any group who wants to spend a trivial amount of resources. What was it figured out that it took about $4000 to get something trending? Let's say you want to trend 3 hashtags a month. That's less than $150,000 to wage a year of subtle dissent against your target. You could pick out 6 or 10 a month, even, and see which ones stick. You're still talking less than $1mil a year. That isn't enough to even be considered pocket change to any nation that wants to stir the pot... And that is all it takes to just slightly alter the populist message to your advantage. The long slow boil pays off in 5 or 10 years. And that is all in addition to election laws that do nothing about outside groups shadow funding PACs and buying traditional advertising through conventional channels.

That's kind of the point of my Globalism thread. It seems some "elites" such as but not limited to Soros are pushing to destabilize western countries. The end game seems to be have the UN or some other non-elected body take control. Greece some years back looked like it was the prototype, with currently some other European countries as new test subjects. The US seems to be the hardest nut to crack.

You are correct about all the major media sources. I find the closest to truth to be Fox, but I even see problems with them. Granted my own biases may influence my preference for Fox, but even still I do not see them outright lying like CNN and MSNBC often do. Now we have a ton of alternative media getting huge such as Infowars, but I doubt we can trust them on everything. It sucks that we don't have any truly unbiased sources. In the US the extremists on both sides are recruiting. On the left you have Antifa who keep getting more and more violent, along with many every day "liberals" themselves getting violent. On the right you have a tiny group of actual white nationalists who are probably growing as a result of the lies and total demonization of them based on their skin color. (How those among them who claim to be Nazis, aka National Socialists claim to be Republican is a whole other conversation). There seems to be a deliberate push to grow these groups and have them clash to destabilize the US.

Why San Francisco is stuck with a deluge of needles

San Francisco hands out more free syringes to drug addicts — 400,000 a month and growing — than New York City, which has 10 times the population.

The San Francisco Department of Public Health oversaw the distribution of an estimated 4.5 million syringes last year, through various programs aimed at reducing HIV transmission and other health risks for injection drug users. Many of the needles wind up discarded on city streets, in parks and at homeless encampments. And they cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to retrieve.

This year, the city is on track to hand out upward of 6 million syringes — which, with a city population of 884,363, works out to nearly seven syringes for every man, woman and child living here.

The worst of the worst fast food joints are now SJWs!

Hahaha! I might has to start a new thread called Get Woke, Go Broke! Every time a corporation goes full SJW, they hemorrhage money and usually bankrupt. So how has this particular SJW campaign going so far?

In case anyone is math challenged, that is approximately a 97% down vote! hahahaha!! They just pissed off 97% of their customers, many of whom will avoid their toxic frankenfoods entirely!

Get woke, go broke!

You know, there's no great secret to avoiding the pink tax on most things. If there is a man's version, and it costs less, buy it.
If you don't want to because it's not "the same thing", then spend the extra - it's either the same thing or it isn't and if it isn't then why should it be priced the same?
Want to avoid the pink tax? Do what men do - if body wash is cheaper than shampoo then wash your hair with body wash - and if shampoo is cheaper then wash your body with shampoo - you don't need two bottles of basically the same detergent!

The whole concept behind their argument makes absolutely no sense. It doesn't even pass the most basic smell test. Wouldn't their argument be misogynist to begin with? Women are simply too dumb to buy the male product that is supposedly identical? They always bring up razors, just go to a Dollar Store where everything is a dollar. All the same, right?

In all seriousness, things that aren't consumer products are always priced higher for men. Car insurance, medical insurance, life insurance etc are all much more expensive for men, and men don't have the option to buy the women's product. I don't see women clamoring for these!

More SWJ silliness

just like the trope that women only make 80% of what a man makes
however if you adjust for the death rate of the job, and environmental factors, the pay difference is the increased pay for hazardous and physically uncomfortable work

Actress Alyssa Milano Blames Russians for Ohio Loss

“You know what sucks?” the 46-year-old actress wrote. “Because of our unwillingness to pass policy that protects our election integrity, I immediately think the Green Party votes tonight are Russian meddling.”

She added, “Why else would anyone cast a protest vote in Ohio when there’s so much at stake?”
