Virginia governor to white nationalists: 'Go home ... shame on you'

One person was killed and 19 were hurt when a speeding car slammed into a throng of counterprotesters in Charlottesville, where a "Unite the Right" rally of white nationalist and other right-wing groups had been scheduled to take place, the city tweeted on its verified account.
A 32-year-old woman was killed while walking across the street, Charlottesville Police Chief Al Thomas said. Police were still in the process of notifying her family.

Suddenly a car drove into the crowd all by itself, just like guns shoot people all by themselves. No mention of the driver, gee I wonder why that it?

In addition to the one death and 19 injuries in the car-ramming incident, the city said there were at least 15 other injuries associated with the scheduled rally.
Federal authorities said a civil rights investigation into the deadly crash was opened hours after it happened.

Wow! Federal Authorities are opening a Civil Rights Investigation on a car!!! This has to be a first, right? Why oh why could that be?

Gee, I guess that's why the news is reporting that a civil rights investigation is being opened on the car. This story will now quietly go away because they can't spin it like they want to.

The pattern? Michael Moore gets a death threat that is ignored, wonders if he would get away with using the same words about someone else. Headline implies that he's just making a death threat. Yes, I guess that fits the pattern for the media. Moore turning his opponents words back on them to show their hypocrisy? Yes, I guess it fits that pattern too. It's another misleading headline and the article spends column inches back peddling it.

Nobody really wants to talk about it. Even though the Republican party didn't want Trump as president they still wanted to win Congress and didn't want Hillary as President so they had absolutely no incentive to suspend their vote rigging schemes. Even so, it wasn't a landslide win for Trump.Strategically his team did well and won the college pretty well, (which is where it counts under the current rules), but the nation didn't overwhelmingly rush to the Trump camp. Running a celebrity is probably a much better idea than you think. I think you overestimate the American people when you say otherwise. Trump is, of course, a celebrity. Celebrities who have run for office have often fared quite well. Most voters could tell you a lot more about what shows are on television who who scored what in which game when than they could tell you about what's going on in the rest of the world or even in the lawmaking houses at home.

Takes more than just being a celebrity to win the Presidency, but a celebrity's comfort with TV & Media is a big plus to the talent stack

BTW it looks like you are correct. The early videos made it look like he simply plowed full speed through the people. New video makes it clear he was driving calmly and legally until his car was attacked. The video backs up your screenshot was done while he was driving calmly and legally.

New SHOCK theory emerges about Charlottesville driver’s “motive”

The second video, originally posted to 4chan’s /pol/, is a thorough examination of the events that seems to suggest the driver was behaving normally until his vehicle was struck with the bat. The video freezes at multiple stages, the first at 0:02, to show a bicyclist on the sidewalk behaving normally.

The video then freezes at 0:04 to show the car being operated and normal speeds, and again at 0:10 to show the vehicle struck by what Department of Memes believes is a baseball bat.

The video then freezes at 0:14 to show the car attempt to brake and change direction, and once more at 0:19 as the mob closes in on the car and the driver speeds through them.

Last night it was revealed by a journalist who spoke to numerous officers at a police station in Charlottesville, Virginia that numerous officers believed the act was not malicious, and was done out of fear.

To recap: The protesters were standing in the middle of the street, blocking traffic. The car was attacked with a blunt object resembling a baseball bat by a protester. The vehicle was not speeding until a the protester attacked and the mob of people closed in on the driver.

If this story is confirmed, then the mainstream media’s narrative about the driver being a white supremacist who sought to kill people at an anti-racism event will be fully blown out of the water.”


Just like "hands up don't shoot" was proven to be a lie, this will continue to carry the narrative that "Nazi kills American woman on US soil".
