The Ultimate 80's Thread

I suppose this is more 70s than 80s though there's a decent straddle, but I'm seeing Jeff Lynne in Vancouver on the 28th of August.

Nice. I saw Echo & The Bunnymen last night, Paul Weller last week and Squeeze the week before. All played a lot of 80s tracks.


OT - how was Tim Minchin? I've seen him a couple of times and always enjoyed it.

Tim? He's a lovely nutter who can really play the piano. Great show.
 
I don't really do nostalgia when it comes to my childhood era, but for some reason this song does trigger something in there. Why this song specifically, dunno.
