Oh dear, I hope it wasn't something serious?

Not really. Some repairs to my left ear.
I won't be able to hear in stereo for at least three weeks, which is unfortunate as we have a gig at Hallowe'en. (Ironically, in a venue called 'Stereo'!)

Hehehe..... not at all.
I've had problems with my left ear since I was a child. Despite the racket I've been making for years, (and moreso, years of going to and DJ-ing in clubs) the hearing in my right ear is apparently as near perfect as can be expected.
My left ear fluctuates between almost deaf and around 90%. With a bit of luck the latest op. will have improved it a bit.

Yeah, that's why I went in too..... :mrgreen:

The free drugs being Paracetamol and Cuprofen; not exactly going to get me right oot ma biscuit but are dulling the pain....

Not sure if anyone noticed (or cares), but U2 streamed their concert last night live from Pasadena California. It seems to be available for on demand viewing at http://www.youtube.com/u2. Surprisingly good quality video and audio. If I was a major TV network I'd be nervous as it seems bands may not ever bother with live TV broadcasts any more. And Youtube is better because you can re-watch it.
