Since the Neocons kicked off the whole transformation of America starting on 9/11, the Imperialists have taken over the news supply. You will not see or hear of protests not sanctioned by the Imperialists unless there is some violence to scare you with or some hippies to make fun of.

Got news for you, the MSM has been on their own (progressive) political agenda since the 1970s after Vietnam.

So I guess you were all for impeaching Ronald Reagan when he bombed Libya?

You have a short memory. Ghaddafi blew up a German bar filled with American soldiers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986_Berlin_discotheque_bombing and then blew up a PanAm Flight 103 http://victimsofpanamflight103.org/ over Lockerbie Scotland. It's a great pity that the F-111 that had to duck anti-aircraft fire and missed Ghaddafi while he was in his mansion (blew up a empty tent). If Obama had said he was only interested in dropping a 2K pound bunker buster on Ghaddafi, I would certainly have backed that as justified, but he didn't.

Perhaps it's the UN he hates. Illegally invading a nation like Iraq without the support on the UN is probably fine. Taking a small part in a UN mission is the greater sin. That fits into his NWO conspiracy nonsense.

Except the UN approved Iraq. Iraq was still in a state of War (and violated the cease fire agreement well over 700 times) by the time Bush 43 took Saddam out. UN never approved NATO's taking out of Ghaddafi, it just gave approval to keep the civilian population safe and not to wipe Libya's forces through air power.

@ Cecilia

Does this mean you are against Unions and such doing the same?

The UN did not approve the US invasion of Iraqi. Kofi Annan called the action by the US illegal according to the UN Charter. It was Pres Bush's mandate that Saddam Hussein relinquish power, again not the UN. While the UN approved many actions for Iraqi it clearly had not approved of the US invasion.

No, I'm referring to 678 which was the beginning of the conflict that went semi-warm during the cease fire which Saddam broke over 700 times which went hot again over MWD. Had there been a formal peace agreement, I would agree with you but there was only a cease fire.

Thanks for making the 678 clear. Certainly the UN did approve actions to take on Iraqi, such as 678 and 1441. Though at no time did the UN approve the US invasion or removal of Saddam.

Hahaha... this is beyond parody.
After everything that's happened, people still spout this nonsense?

The mental gymnastics and rationalisation I mentioned, laid bare for all to see.
Too funny - away and have a word with yourself.
