Ya, well, aside from witness testimony, there's zero evidence of UFOs as well. Ancient Greeks had science (which explains why so many scientific terms have their roots in Greek), many centuries before Islam ever came about. Perhaps you meant Arabs, which knew a thing or two about numbers. If you consider math a science (as opposed to an art, as some may argue) then the Sumerians may be the first scientists around 3000 years before Islam. But Astronomy was also one of the first sciences and it too was developed far before Islam or Christ. Science may have played a role in religion, but it would have been mostly the pagan religions which by their nature allowed for more open discussion and free thought.Ironically science was pretty much started for religious reasons, by muslims.
