hey... just so we're clear... i am a world traveler and am familiar with stuff... i know what words mean... and what they mean to people as well... you lost me at kuffar....

    Kuffar

Also spelled 'kafir' or 'kaffir', Kuffar is a highly derogatory Arabic term used to refer to non-Muslims, though it is usually directed less against "People of the Book" (Christians and Jews) and more against others (Hindus, Buddhists, Shintoists, etc).

Separate laws govern Muslims and kuffars in an Islamic state with kuffars being viciously suppressed. For example: the blood payment to the family of a murdered Muslim man in Saudi Arabia is 1,000,000 Riyals; the payment to the family of a murdered Hindu woman is 3,333 Riyals.

Against kuffars make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war to strike terror into the (hearts of) the Enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside, whom you may not know, but whom Allah does know. Whatever you shall spend in the Cause of Allah, shall be repaid to you, and you shall not be treated unjustly. (Qur'an: 8:60)

family values!! what conservative living this family has!! whole family looking after each other however they have to.... shame on them... boooo!... not most preferred living circumstance... boooo! i dunno... just boooo! really? ;)

you should run a comparison test,
first go to Israel and proclaim that you are a Atheist and blaspheme Jehovah
then go to Gaza and proclaim you are a Atheist and blaspheme Mohammad

An interesting comparison. Israel's current blasphemy laws were established in 1929 by the British High Commission. Prior to this Israel used their Abrahamic roots, such as Gaza does, to impose very severe penalities on Palestinians. It was the move to this non-religious law which imposed a max of 1 year in prision and gives Israel the 'better' handling of Atheists in their society. Which I think is a good generalization that we see in the West. Governments have moved religion out as the demanding and driving force for societies. Net we're improved compared to our past when Abrahamic Laws drove our societies and we're an improvement compared to current societies which are still run by Abrahamic Law. To the extent when we review the USA, not derivative of Abrahamic Law, includes the right of free speech and free religion. Thereby permiting blasphemy and sacriledge unimposed.
