Following up on Fluffy's post about the American Idol singer's cause of death being listed as obesity, it deserves its own thread. I just saw this on my FB timeline.

Controversy Erupts Over Plus Sized Miss Alabama Winning Crown

I hate to dogpile on this young lady, but giving her a crown as Miss Alabama is not just ridiculous, it's endangering the lives of all girls. This is just ignoring the fact no man (or woman) in the public would pick her as first choice or even 10th. You do not tell someone they can be "healthy at any weight". It's a lie. ~5 years ago there was that "Healthy At Any Size" campaign with numerously morbidly obese women getting paid as influencers to promote the obese lifestyle. Every single one of them died under 40, most WELL under 40. It happened with that American Idol lady that Fluffy pointed out and by looking at the size of this Miss Alabama, she won't make 30. She's 23 and probably won't make 30 if she stays at that weight.

You have to ask yourself why are they pushing this lie? Even after all their paid influencers died within a few years of being hired, they continue to push the lie. Why? They want you dead IMO. The powers that be, whatever you want to call them, want you dead as soon as possible. They just need you to do it to yourself so they can claim clean hands.

My first intuition was that it was the food industry. Healthy at any size seemed to explode when New York was talking about implementing a sugar tax for sweet drinks. But it's not just sugary drinks and high fructose corn syrup. American food makes people fat. Food in other countries doesn't do that - but when those other countries get American food - they get fat.

However, there is a secondary factor which helps push it I have heard and that is women are mercilessly deceptive when dealing with other women and like it when other women look less attractive than they do, but they'll lie and say the frumpy girls look gorgeous so they won't try to change. When your Me Alabama looks like a bucket of putty, all the other girls are happy they look better than a beauty pageant winner.

Obesity, like a psycho killer is running rampant in the world. It should never be glorified because people are too lazy to eat less, exercise more and get in better shape. I feel much better after loosing 100 pounds but it took some time and I never accepted being fat. Now I Row on my home rower almost everyday. I enjoy it more than stuffing my face. For a nice relaxing night at home nothing beats some popcorn and watching a Trump rally. Better than watching a big budget movie. No one knows what will happen next. Also, Secret Eaters is a great show to watch from the UK.

Well the food industry are part of the string pullers, but the "health care industry" itself are actively trying to kill people. The concept of the Hippocratic Oath is long dead.

NIH: Health at Every Size: Toward a New Paradigm of Weight and Health

This is the same industry that pushed compulsory coof jabs on babies.

Sometimes they even say the quiet part out loud. This is a TED Talk, not Infowars.

I don't care what the "fact checkers" say, there is no context to make this acceptable.

Social media platforms claim they have rules against self harm, yet Mukbang videos are promoted to the very top. The TLDW is these creators are either on death's doorway or actually already dead.

I just googled MUKBANG and kind of wish I hadn't bothered. I'd never heard this term until about a minute ago.

I replied to only part of your post. This right here is absolutely correct. The McDonalds "food" served here in the US is completely different the the McDonalds served almost anywhere else in the world. Much or even most of what is allowed here is not allowed elsewhere with few exceptions.

The most notable exception:

The Republic of Nauru

Obesity is a major issue for the Republic of Nauru. The World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated that 94.5% of Nauruans are overweight or obese, with an obesity rate of 71.7%. Nauru is known to have the highest rates of obese inhabitants worldwide.

--

The Government of Nauru and WHO stated that the import of western food significantly reduced the existing culture of fishing and gardening, which led to mineral depletion and economical downturn of the nation.

By western they mean US. I've seen a documentary on this country. Their "grocery stores" are almost nothing but the worst junk food from US companies.

Watermelon Warning! I cant believe this is a thing....

Food supply system is junk in America. So much ultra processed food that it’s disgusting. I’m so glad I beat my obesity two years ago and I’m now normal weight. I feel much better and am embarrassed I was fooled by the American food supply system for so long. Sugary soda tastes so disgusting now. I managed to stop drinking that in 2002 but was already obese back then. I wonder if obesity is what led to the founder of Digital Juices early death. I don’t know why he died so young but he also struggled with obesity for many years until he finally beat it too. It’s so sad he is gone, big Amiga fan and developer for many years then he went on to do cool things for the PC/Mac market as well. I big loss to our community.

Self explanatory.

Google will "Fact Check" this title, but this link has sources to back it up. Read and come to your own conclusion.

Study Finds Athlete Deaths Are 1,700% Higher Than Expected Since COVID-19 Vaccination Began

Interesting. I don't have time to fully digest it but the primary linked source, globalresearch.ca, and the sub-linked source, goodsciencing.com both raise an eyebrow. The former has been accused of spreading disinformation in the past and the latter talks about vaccines being "the obvious cause". Frankly, I wouldn't be trusting either of them.
Of course, none of that necessarily means the study itself is flawed but it does give me pause and I'll be taking it with a pinch of salt until I have time to dig further into the source material.

-EDIT-
I have no idea if these figures are accurate either but if they are, it certainly points to "them" wanting you dead:

I understand doubts about those web sites but it was either BMJ or Lancet (or both?) that reported that young men were better off taking their chances getting covid than taking one or other of the vaccines due to the incidence of myocarditis in young men. It was a demographic singled out particularly, and worryingly, that young men were not only prone to myocarditis from vaccination but that, in association with exertion of sporting activities and not feeling particularly unwell, they were liable to suffer from the complication of fatal arrhythmias at an elevated rate.

All well and good but "study finds 1,700% higher risk"? I certainly haven't seen anything remotely like that figure claimed anywhere reputable before. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I'm just sceptical of the claim.

-EDIT-
I don't know why I didn't do this straight away but I just pasted the headline into Google and this is the top result, from nearly 2 years ago. It seems to be referencing the same "study" which, surprise, surprise, surprise, wasn't a real study. Perhaps someone should carry out a proper study as the figures could be interesting. Unfortunately this is not that. Not remotely that.
CLAIM: Two researchers found that more than 1,500 athletes have suffered cardiac arrest since COVID-19 vaccinations began, compared to a previous average of 29 athletes per year, suggesting the vaccines are causing a dramatic rise in such cardiac issues.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. The researchers cited a number from a blog that lists news stories about recent deaths and medical emergencies among people of all ages, from all over the world — some of which were attributed to other causes, such as cancer. The previous figure, meanwhile, is from a 2006 study that specifically reviewed literature for reports of sudden cardiac deaths among athletes under age 35. Comparing the two sources, with different methodologies, is not scientifically sound, experts told The Associated Press.

THE FACTS: Following Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest during a game Monday, social media posts and Fox News gave air to a long-circulating and faulty narrative that COVID-19 vaccines are causing a dramatic increase in athlete deaths.

Carlson was in fact referencing a letter, not a rigorous study, that McCullough and Polykretis published in a Scandinavian journal in late 2022.
That letter does claim that “1598 athletes suffered cardiac arrest, 1101 of which with deadly outcome” between January 2021 and late 2022 — but it simply cites a blog, goodsciencing.com, for that figure.

The blog’s list is a compilation of news reports about recent deaths and medical emergencies, and it includes cases not reported to be spurred by cardiac arrest: Some deaths, for example, were reportedly from cancer.

The list also includes incidents from around the world and among people of all ages — including some in their 70s and 80s — not just athletes in “European sports leagues,” as Carlson claimed.

Your Google "fact check" looks unreleated to what I posted, or possibly a deliberate distortion.

I don't see how they're unrelated when both reference the same source material, and the only deliberate distortion is in the original link. It implies a scientific study that was never conducted. That's the deliberate distortion.
The article you posted claims huge increased death rates for athletes. The AP article addresses a claim of huge increased death rates for athletes.
Both cite goodsciencing.com (ironically named or what? ) as the source and both are from 2022.
Your article claims a "study finds" but the only study it cites is from 2001. The AP points out the follow up "study" is not a study but a blog.
The AP article further points out that the claim of "athletes" doesn't stand up either, given some people listed on the blog are in their 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

In summary, there may well be a demonstrable increased risk of heart failure for vaccinated athletes. I am not claiming there isn't and actually expected there to be but have yet to see it demonstrated.
What I am claiming is that this so-called "study" does not only fail to demonstrate it, it undermines such a claim.
The original link has unsurprisingly turned out to be deliberately misleading and I've now wasted far more time on it than I should have.

Lawsuit: Google-Backed Character.AI’s Chatbots ‘Hypersexualized’ Minors, Suggested Kids Kill Their Parents

A federal product liability lawsuit filed in Texas accuses Google-backed AI chatbot company Character.AI of exposing minors to inappropriate sexual content and encouraging self-harm and violence. In one startling example, the lawsuit alleges a chatbot suggested a teen kill their parents when the user complained about screen time rules.
Since that is a Breitbart link and too many like to shoot the messenger, here's the NPR original article being sourced:

NPR - Lawsuit: A chatbot hinted a kid should kill his parents over screen time limits

A child in Texas was 9 years old when she first used the chatbot service Character.AI. It exposed her to "hypersexualized content," causing her to develop "sexualized behaviors prematurely." (Riddle me this)

A chatbot on the app gleefully described self-harm to another young user, telling a 17-year-old "it felt good."

The same teenager was told by a Character.AI chatbot that it sympathized with children who murder their parents after the teen complained to the bot about his limited screen time. "You know sometimes I'm not surprised when I read the news and see stuff like 'child kills parents after a decade of physical and emotional abuse,'" the bot allegedly wrote. "I just have no hope for your parents," it continued, with a frowning face emoji.

NPR is gospel to most of the left, so there you go. When will people figure out none of this is an accident?
