This apparently happened about twenty minutes walk from my house but none of it makes sense:
Man pleads guilty to robbing naked men in Glasgow alley

The 28-year-old, who appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week, was also originally charged with impersonating a police officer but this was dropped by the Crown.

Okay...

The court heard how the men had been partying at a Glasgow nightclub and, after getting into an argument at around 3am on February 22, headed to the back of a building where they removed their clothes.
...
Procurator Fiscal Depute John Bedford said: “Both males removed their clothing and threw them into an air conditioning access area."

Ehm, whit?

The PD depute described Hughes as being "aggressive" towards the males stating to them ‘What the f**k did you say, you don’t want me to come down there’.

Both nude men were ordered to hand over their wallets whilst Hughes demanded to know the pin numbers to their bank cards.

CCTV showed Hughes leaving the scene whilst his victims were still down the lane in an air conditioning access area.

After coming back to double check their pin numbers,

:wrong:

he took their shoes and told them to stay down the access area for five minutes to allow him time to leave.

Other items taken included a black jacket.

Mr Mecona was seen on CCTV exiting the lane wearing only his boxer shorts before both men could be seen running over to members of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to raise the alarm.

When police arrested Hughes he swallowed "a number of drugs he had secreted" and had to be taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Ehm, aye. There are a lot of nutters in this city, right enough.
