Elon Musk watch (was Elon Muskrat watch)

I looked for science topics, some people I was following on other sites and if there is anything about LEGO. so far not much on LEGO (sad), There are cat photos, however.
Wee bit off topic but I was at a Lego seminar for computing teachers last week. Focused more on the programming than the lego but still...
So far it really does feel like a breath of fresh air.
Yes, I have had the dejavu thing on there. It does remind me a little of old Twitter.

EVs are actually fantastic but are often misunderstood like the Amiga was and is. They are taking over the auto industry but slower people resist change so it takes some time. Lots of new, exciting and interesting choices when you go electric. And great deals are available since it’s currently in fashion to sh*t talk EVs by some that don’t get the tech. The coming years and even now have great innovations in the electric car industry. I’ve been driving mostly EV since 2013 so I guess I’m a futurist at heart. It’s mostly old people that don’t understand electric cars, the young embrace it. Sometimes, technology moves forward one funeral at a time unfortunately. More choices than Tesla all the time as far as what to buy EV wise. Gas cars are boring and cause cancer and death just like cigarettes. People are free to buy whatever kind of transportation they want but like it or not EV will take over the auto industry. You can ignore that or take advantage of that, the choice is up to you.
My eyes have always been on battery tech
here's another "new" idea:

Mark my words, since Elon is now part of Trump's cabinet, 2025 will be the year the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) go hard after Tesla and specifically Tesla.

There are no coincidences in life. When it comes to the current electric car market, Ralph Nader is too old at 90 and no one seems to be picking up the torch. No one is picking up that torch likely because they would get snuffed out by Big Green, figuratively or literally.

I constantly see people complaining about tesla's - especially that ugly "truck"

The Cybertruck is a disaster vanity project.

South Florida seems to be ground zero for them. I am seeing them all the time now, usually daily and often multiple per day. Stainless steel rusts and South Florida isn't the sunshine state, it's the rain and humidity state. Almost all of the ones I've seen have wraps. At least there's creativity to many of the the wraps I've seen.

We'll see long term how the exterior's survive humid & wet environments like SFL with wraps. I had friends back in the day who put a "bra" on the front of their sports car to protect it. They regretted it as moisture and dirt would get caught behind the bra and long term did more damage than no bra.

This thread is a good barometer for what's happened to twitter over the last couple of years. Reply after reply after reply of Nazi apologists spouting similar lies. Until Musk took over, I never encountered anything like the amount of full-on, Nazi-loving, Jew-hating, lying lunatics in one thread. You may argue that's a "good thing" because "free speech". Maybe it is but it's hardly encouraging the "town square" that Musk seems for some bizarre reason to genuinely think exists. Instead it's turned into a cesspit of disinformation and hatred.

It's a sign that you've been interacting with nazis. X is like that. Everything is sticky.

Yes, I'm always interacting with Nazis. Can't get enough of the cuddly wee cuties. Weird it took so long for the algorithm to catch it.
More seriously, scan the thread and you'll see it's clearly nothing of the sort. The Nazis are all over the OP and calling him a Jew because they don't like the Tweet. He's not Jewish and using "Jew" in such a derogatory way would previously merit a suspended account. Now it's "free speech" and tacitly encouraged, with dozens of blue ticks joining in the fun.
-edit-
As an aside, the overwhelming majority of them falsely claiming the image is from the same film (Schindler's List) is an interesting detail on its own. It's hard to tell how many of them know they're lying and how many actually believe it. One or two have been "community noted" like this one...
... but most haven't (yet). I guess when then tide of pro-Nazi kiech is so strong community notes gets overwhelmed.

Musk is now claiming only the AfD can save Germany. A far right party running Germany again is just what the world has been waiting for since 1945. (No, this is not a parody. It really is one of their posters). Perhaps he was interacting with Nazis so much that the algorithm decided to post on his behalf.
