Why do you refuse to accept people's own words when they say it? Why do you refuse to accept history? Why must people make assumptions of what people meant to say when their words are pretty clear otherwise? Watch the video and tell me Bill Gates does not say that "vaccines", "health care" and "reproductive services" are useful for REDUCING population growth. Karlos believes this means because healthier people have less kids. This flies in the face of logic and is NOT what Bill Gates says at any point.

100 years ago in Europe and North America there would often be 6 to 12 kids per family (with a few of them dying along the way). Birth rates in developed countries are now far below that (even below replacement in many cases) but in poor and developing countries the birth rates are much higher. If you don't like anyone else studies you can just look around for yourself.

Red, it's a very well known fact that if you improve the general health, security and education of a population, the birth rate goes down. That's why in the Western world it's typical for people to have 1 or 2 children, while in the 3rd world it's more like 5 or 6 or way more. And this isn't a cultural thing, even if you compare families within the same nation you'll find poorer people have more kids. If you'd like a first hand demonstration, fly up here to Winnipeg and we'll go out to one of the reserves where we have 12 or so unemployed, undereducated and often sick people living in a small little house.

I know, it's pretty ridiculous. Who would buy Windows then? There's no economic incentive for a smaller population for pretty much anyone. Growth requires growth.

As an addition to this, you have previously admitted yourself that you sometimes make deliberately over the top statements. But now you're complaining that I don't take it exactly as you write it.

It isn't just Bill Gates, but you don't get much more "elitist" than Bill Gates. Look, I am not saying Bill Gates personally wants to mass slaughter a few billion people over night. It is clear that the "elites", "Globalists", "militant tree-huggers" or whatever else you want to call certain groups, have made repeated statements that human beings are nothing more than a carbon footprint that needs to be wiped out. The term 80% keeps coming up. How anyone cannot look back now at the swine-flu hysteria and related vaccines and not be suspicious is beyond my comprehension. Have you read what GMOs are doing to livestock? Do you realize GMO is in almost everything you eat now? Have you read what is in our ground water? Have you read about the "baffling" rise in ADHD, childhood cancers, autism, narcolepsy etc? Have you seen entire a large percentage of people around you die of cancer? Ever wonder why you can remove one president and drop another in place without skipping a beat? Ever wonder why and how the US Constitution can be completely disregarded in 2012?

People can point and laugh at me all they want. I refuse to put blinders on to something that may be happening just because the repercussions of being right are so frightening. People refused to believe that Hitler was the monster that he was. To this day you have people who claim the Holocaust was a hoax made by Hollywood.

Look at the people behind the curtain. 10 years ago I would have laughed, but back then this stuff was pretty well hidden. There are some truly evil things going on. The question is just how evil it is and which competing conspiracy theory is right. Is it the absolute worst theory ala Alex Jones or *ONLY* as bad as Glenn Beck? I'm sure you can find some pot smoking hippies on the left with their own theory. I don't know.

Actually, the trend around me seems to be heart attacks and other heart related problems. I only knew one person who died of cancer and one other who beat it. And last I heard, the trend for cancer deaths is on the decline, at least here in North America. That's not to be confused with the cancer rate - it may be we're just better at treating it.
