People eat bison and buffalo. They're cousins of cows. A donkey or a horse probably aren't that far apart. Though simple honesty and fairness deems we label products accordingly. Who'd be happy to buy a Mac and find out it's got Linux on it?

As the declared Libertarian do you consider this something we should let companies do then repeatedly sue them? Or do you think the government has a role here to ensure product quality, safety and honest?
 
mebbe we should just be glad it's "real meat" even if it isnt our preferred kind...and while the consumption of horse and/or donkey meat might be offensive on the highest order; i feel safe in my assumption that it is by far, not the most harmful thing you'll find in burger king food (term used loosely). :D

Clearly regulation here has failed. How many years has the meat been faked?

I don't mind minimal regulation and laws, mainly on a state level. How that translates to the EU I guess would mean an individual country level.

Burger King is is by far the worst when it comes to the major chains. I find the "food" largely inedible, absolutely disgusting. Well, the "Checkers" local to me has gotten even worse than BK, but I don't know if Checkers qualifies as a major chain.

Lately I avoid fast food burger joints altogether, unless it is a few select items from Wendy's (burger w/ no bun or condiments, side salad, real unsweet tea etc). Thank God for Wendy's.

Though, in defense of the communion wafer makers, according to Catholics, I don't believe it is supposed to become the actual body of Christ until it is presented. Therefore, it would be religion failing to deliver as advertised...

Yeah Catholics and the Eastern Orthodox have a big word for it - Transubstantiation. That's probably what got me trouble with faith. Being raised a Lutheran one of the things noted was how one of the reasons Lutherans broke away from the Catholic church was that crazy thought that bread could become a physical body. Through the years I just kept rolling with the logic.

For a snippet in my past. My Confirmation Pastor supposedly told my parents he thought I'd be a Pastor or an atheist because of the analytical way I dug into the history and foundation of these ideas. They didn't tell me this until I came out as an atheist.
