Did Burger King sell burgers made with horse meat?

excerpt:

"On the heels of discovering that its famous meatballs contained horse DNA, Swedish furniture giant IKEA has had to remove its almond cakes from stores in 23 countries around the world due to bacterial contamination."

when do they become regarded as a food conglomerate by the media? when their furniture breaks?
as far as I can recall IKEA has had a little lunch room as well as a small Swedish food type stuff place. At least the one near me does. And "near me" means On Long Island. :D

The have ligonberry(sic) juice, lutifish (sic), Swedish meatballs, chocolate bars, cookies, tubes of fish paste (usually salmon), herring (mom gets that for my brother 'cause he LOVES it) and various other stuff.

the food is great.

That's supposed to used as a flavor additive, like a spice. I dare you to eat their whole jar of cinnamon in a single sitting without beverage.
"
can you believe the crap we shove in our mouths or what? lol some friend of mine told me "hey why dont you put "accent" on your food?"... i proclaimed to be allergic to msg... :D have similar issue with fish... only add radiation and mercury poisoning...:D

Fish related materials are used in cuisine from cultures surrounded by water. Think Japan. It was a main source of protein. Fish Sauce is fermented fish. Could you imagine the smell of working in that factory? If you haven't had this go to an Asian restaurant and dip your egg rolls in it. The sauce smells like stinky socks crossed with ass. The taste is awesome.

Clearly regulation here has failed. How many years has the meat been faked?

I don't mind minimal regulation and laws, mainly on a state level. How that translates to the EU I guess would mean an individual country level.

From what I've read one or more of the recent entry eastern European countries recently banned horses from using main roads, causing a glut of horsemeat to flood the market, so months rather than years.
