White House 'planted fake story to smear reporter who wrote about leaks'

Six and a half hours after the Politico report broke, the Washington Examiner published a story about Mr Isenstadt.

It quoted an anonymous source as saying that Isenstadt “appeared dismissive and laughed” at Mr Spicer’s denial and reference to Mr Owens.

“He started laughing about that Seal,” said The Examiner’s "informed official" source.

Politico editor Carrie Budoff Brown accused the White House of anonymously planting a fake story to smear its reporter.

Donald Trump said last week that anonymous sources should be banned.

The 70-year-old billionaire businessman once used unnamed sources to make repeated false claims about Barack Obama.

Anyone with 2 working brain cells remembers Obama made the exact same comparison, but not one of these shit stains had a problem with it then.

Like a typical lib snowflake, Leslie Jones had no response to Sean Davis’ polite reaction to her misinformed tweet. So she responded by blocking him.

Leslie Jones is barely literate, and it is arguable whether she is even that. Pulling her out of whatever public housing ghetto she was in and trying to make her a celebrity is not helping their SJW cause.

When the Obama admin asked Bush-era U.S. attorneys to resign in 2009, Politico reported on it as a procedural “replacement” process. When Trump’s team did the same thing in 2017, the same outlet reported they were “ousting” those attorneys.

As Breitbart’s Warner Todd Huston points out, the differences go beyond the headline.

“The 2009 article was also written as a straight news piece with no negative connotations, no finger wagging and no voices of opposition,” writes Huston.

To the contrary, he points out, Politico said, “Obama’s order ‘began to resolve the questions’ over whether Obama would fire Bush’s attorneys in light of the trouble Bush got into from the left when he fired some of Clinton’s appointees in 2006.”

It’s also worth noting that Politico’s 2009 piece on Obama is 482 words. Its piece on President Trump? 1,036 words.

What does Politico do with all those extra words? Well, it includes plenty of dissenting voices, including Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer, who was upset about the removal of Preet Bharara.

When Le Pen questioned her on that declaration, she responded, “on the Internet, you can find conspiracy theories, all types of things, it’s not necessarily verified information.”

“Don’t you think that the traditional media have conspiracy theories?” shot back Le Pen.

“I’ve read a ton of things about Russia intervening in the presidential campaign and other things like that – I mean there is at least as much fake news in the traditional media as on the Internet!”

The reporter goes on to bash Le Pen for ‘acting like Trump’ by trying to undermine the media.

“Madame, French people have no confidence in the media whatsoever, are you aware of that, or not?” fires Le Pen.

Sean Spicer to ABC’s Jon Karl: ‘Calm Down’ — ‘It’s Not Your Press Briefing’

Monday at the White House press briefing, press secretary Sean Spicer took on ABC News’ Jonathan Karl for interrupting a question by the AP’s Julie Pace.

When Spicer asserted the role of Paul Manafort in the 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump was ultimately a small one, Karl objected.

Spicer shot back, “Hey Jonathan, hold on can you stop interrupting other people’s questions? Hey, Jonathan somebody is asking a question. It’s not your press briefing. Julie is asking a question. Please calm down.”
