Given Trump's track record of misogyny it's easy to see why people might draw that parallel but The Handmaid's Tale isn't about Trump. It was written 30-odd years ago.

Are we talking about the Trump/Handmaid's Tale picture? Because, isn't that Theresa May? in which case, is it misogynistic of me to say "Eeewww! No thanks!"? Unless the TV series has a completely different take on what the handmaids are all about than the way the book portrays them ... ew!
