Wasn't sure which picture you were referring to as the link got gacked in the reply - but I see it's the first one in the thread. Where exactly is the hypocrisy?
That's a silly statement. We all know that 70% of Latinos support Dems. Jesus wouldn't be a Republican.
Really?!
it's lip service. They don't actually like THEIR ancestors because they don't remember them.
I remember my grandparents and my mother/aunt/father and his father. I KNOW and SAW the sacrifices they made for me. I KNOW what it meant to be American from THEM. It's not some faraway long ago thing....it's real and happened in my life.
didn't you just prove my point??Nice try C but once again, I call trolling on this one. I remember my grandparents and one great grandmother quite well. I also wouldn't be here without my German born and raised mother coming to the USA.... Legally. I find her thoughts on this immigration "issue" most interesting.

yes, and i prefer to think of it as a broad, sweeping generalization that is largely true... not sure when your ancestors arrived here but when mine came, they needed only sign in to the "hey we're here log", swear they'd call this place "home" and then get on with the business of living.... what it takes to be a legal immigrant isn't the same as it was, once....

Your huddled masses, yearning to breath free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless, tempest tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.
Want the immigration laws changed? There is a process for that... ;-)
