on G+ a bunch of us were talking about reagan and Thatcher.

one fellow had a particularly wonderful way of expressing his views:
Thatcher was generally loathed in the UK, among people who actually '_worked for a living_ - hence the celebrations recently on the occasion of her death.
Again, among UK working people, Reagan was seen as nothing more than a slow-witted, slow-talking b-movie actor who was merely parroting the lines fed to him by handlers.

The rise of the 1% and their theft of the wealth of the US was as blatant as a soccer player diving in the box to win a penalty: it's wrong, it's against all common decency, and the game will never be the same again.
