With that in mind, it does seem like he's in the wrong league. It would be no different then a kid who sucks demanding that he play with the regional champions, just because he wants to. It seems to me that this is a "beer" league, but for kids. A "coke and chips" league you could say. Not sure why he wants to play in this league at all.
