Right now the blogosphere is all run about the daughter Palin claimed to have.

Update: Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin welcomes son (April 22, 2008)

Confusing Desperate Housewives plot lines with real life?

Be careful, you'll slit your throat on "Occam's Razor"
Definitely sounds like plot line from Desperate Housewives no doubt. Personally I give Palin the benefit of the doubt and it's her baby. My questions is -- why did Palin spend 13 hours after your water broke to travel to a small town hospital? What I do not believe is the OB/GYN would say a 13 hour trip after the water had broke and in labor would be a good idea. If so it was a crappy Dr. Seattle and Anchorage clearly have quality facilities. After the water breaks Drs want you to have the baby fairly soon due to the risk of infection. 13 hours is within this window. But, knowning the kid has downs wouldn't you error on safety's sake? Here's a better list of the timeline

Nutter Malkin says -- 'if it were true (Palin is a Grandma), it actually makes Palin look saintly in her devotion to family.' Lying in this way is only twisted devotion -- aka Depesperate Housewives.

All the blogosphere grandmagate aside Palin is an interesting choice. McCain-Palin lost incredible value by losing the ability to charge Obama with inexperienced. They introduced their own layer of inexperience.

Early on voters were polling about 30% stating they'd never vote for a Mormon. In addition, the Christian Evengelican wing of the Republican Party still has significant pull. They'd not run a Mormon as that'd be (in their eyes) anti-Christian.

Would *you* vote for a Mormon? Did they poll Democrats :?:
Myself? Sure being Mormon doesn't disqualify anyone for me.

I believe the poll was of Republicans only. I did some googling I think this is the source - ' In a June (2007) Washington Post-ABC News poll, 30 percent of Republicans said they would be "less likely" to vote for a Mormon; of them, half -- one Republican in six -- said there was "no chance" they would pull the lever for a Mormon candidate.

That is a bit surprising, whyzzat :?: Do you know what Mormons believe?

Only 30%? I'd bet Democrats wouyld poll higher than 30%, but they conviently didn't poll Democrats.
