Ted Nugent’s Craziest Quotes

Apparently Ted prefers to shoot at creatures that won’t shoot back. He told Salon.com that he gets afull predator spiritual erection” from tracking “bear, lions, coons, housecats, escaped chimps, small children, scared women, and everything else that can be chased and/or hunted.”
And when Ted Nugent is reincarnated, I pray to God that he’s a bear, lion, coon, housecat, escaped chimp, small child, scared woman, or anything else that will be chased and/or hunted. Karma’s a female dog. But the erection part doesn’t surprise me one bit. Hunting is probably the only way he can get an erection. Try Viagra Ted.
Speaking of dogs, Ted has this advice for the poor among us…
“If you’re poor, you can’t have a dog! You start by eating the (expletive) pets!

Just skimming the posts on page 3 regarding Obama the dog eater. Funny. Not sure where these originate from, but it's quite typical Republican campaign bullshit. It's Romney that strapped the dog to the roof but somehow it's Obama who's labelled "dog eater". This certainly reminds me of how the draft-dodger George Bush was able to "swiftboat" an actual Vietnam war veteran. What's surprising is not that these tactics work effectively, but that the morons who fall for it are so effective at doing the dirty work of propagating the lie.

I don't understand what this is all about. Who cares if he ate dog? In some cultures dog is a normal food. Pigs are far more intelligent than dogs and we eat them. Lambs are far cuter than dogs and we eat them. And if eating animals is cruel, then only vegetarians and vegans have the right to cast any stones here.

Animal cruelty however, especially to one's pet, is a different ball game. There are laws about how to transport livestock, and I'm pretty certain that strapping a cow to the roof of a truck is not allowed. So what Romney did to his own personal pet would be "highly questionable" even if it wasn't his pet and he was transporting it to the slaughter house. The fact that it was his pet simply displays his lack of empathy.

I don't think that they actually "work" per se. There are only a very few people who are dumb enough to actually think this is a good counter argument but there are sufficient numbers of these morons that they can effectively shut down the Romney dog on the car roof story because nobody wants to mention it anymore because annoying morons will pop up and start yelling "Obama eats dogs". As such it is an effective PR campaign to submerge a very damaging story and though the PR company that launched it probably got paid very well, the knuckle heads will continue to spread it for free making it quite cost effective overall.

If you had read page 2 you would have known the answer ...

Obama autobiography

You know why Romney put the dog on the roof of his car?

So Obama wouldn't eat it

Obama autobiography
Which is exactly why I said that you were just echoing PR because that is not the kind of book I would ever believe that you would have read for yourself. You are just a Romney tool - and you are debasing political discourse at the same time. Wanna know how you would make America fail? Convince at least 50% of the population that this counts as debate.

Since posting that, I did do some of my own research and ya, Obama ate dog meat.

Now, could you explain to me why that is a big deal?

I don't think that they actually "work" per se. .

Politically, the most interesting phenomenon at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner last night were the dog jokes. The President himself made three jokes about eating dogs. This despite the news blackout on Obama eating dog jokes in major news sources like the New York Times, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, ....

In fact to read media coverage of the event, you would never know any dog eating jokes were told ... the AP report on the dinner ran for 25 paragraphs, but didn’t include the word “dog,” once

Sorry guys... I had to get in on the fun. I made this bumper sticker for my next sim racing car. In support of our President, of course.

Well, who knows, maybe this will bring about a whole new culinary interest in our little K9 friends. Apparently dog tastes a lot like pork. Of course if you don't like it you could always feed it to your... umm... cat?

Because the media made Romney bringing his dog with him on vacation in 1983, in a carrier strapped to the roof of his car, the most important question of the 2012 campaign!

Gail Collins has mentioned the Romney dog incident in her NYT column 57 times now
Diane Sawyer thought dogs were an important question in her interview

Then it was discovered Obama talked about "eating a dog" in his autobiography

now dogs are a distraction!

Decision 2012
Dog in a crate or on a plate?

I'm sure the MSNBC audience was mystified about why Obama was talking about eating dogs.

Thanks for ending the media blackout Mr. President!
