Narrator: "Kwarteng was, indeed, sacked today."
But ... he was so diverse and diversity is our strength.Narrator: "Kwarteng was, indeed, sacked today."
Canada is a US and/or WEF test lab for populist repression in the Chinese style. Things are a bit odd here though most people are still buying into the old Canada goodwill.
Sounds like a horrific hellscape of a country. Perhaps you should look into moving to somewhere less oppressive.Canada is a US and/or WEF test lab for populist repression in the Chinese style. Things are a bit odd here though most people are still buying into the old Canada goodwill.
He was not allowed entry because he was not fully vaccinated and didn't have a negative PCR test done. Thousands of Americans (and people from other nations too but primarily Americans due to geography) have been prevented from entering Canada on the same grounds - but so have many Canadians. He was also coming in support of the trucker protest so that would be another good reason for the government to find cause to turn him back. The trucker protests were supported by thousands of Canadians, many of whom were punished for their support.
We also block a lot of books and publications at the border - for obscenity, for hate speech, etc. I recall years ago a local lesbian book store having an order blocked at the border.
And we'll deport people we cannot lawfully deport if America wants them bad enough - just like the UK probably will with Assange if they fail to run out his life clock first.
And remember, the government is not the people and increasingly so these days.
There's only one planet and globalisation continues apace. The ruling classes are all in the same little worldwide club and eventually everyone will get a Goldman Sachs PM and a WEF parliament. You make you stand where you are (like the truckers did) because, like most Chinese, or working class or poor for that matter, we can't just up and leave - at least not till we have nothing to lose.Sounds like a horrific hellscape of a country. If you lived in Nazi Germany before the war it was a pretty good place too, so long as you weren't a Jew or you didn't have anything bad to say about the government. If you did notice anything amiss it was always better to just keep your head down and ignore it. If you only ever hang around the feed trough you'll never know where the fences are and maybe you'll never have to care.
dude, relax - it's a JOKE.Canada is a US and/or WEF test lab for populist repression in the Chinese style. Things are a bit odd here though most people are still buying into the old Canada goodwill.
