Han shot first. The 1984 memory hole is now fully technically possible (and worse - convincing depictions of the present can be created by AI in seconds). Physical document archives are dying and, while newsprint still exists, it's almost extinct. It doesn't even matter whether what they printed was true at the time or not, but the point of the memory hole is that you can change the past to be more convenient but to do so you must destroy the contrary evidence of the past.The narrative is changing. The sheeple won't remember anything that happened prior.
