The sad part is this anti-Obama attitude is one that is hurting the nation. Wanting Obama to fail (throw you favorite Fox quotes in here) can only be done if the USA fails. It's bad enough we only have 2 parties in the dual dictatorship. Let's not throw the USA under the bus so your favorite dictators control the nation for a long time to come.

As they say the USA has 1 more choice than Russia on who to run their nation. Sad! And something our Founding Fathers hoped to avoid.

This is all you guys have left? I was telling you from the very beginning that what Obama was doing would only lead to a much, much bigger problem. Back then you guys would claim anyone who didn't agree with Obama wanted the USA to fail because they were racist. Then when Porkulous and QE2 put a temporary bandaid on the country you danced about how great Obama was. Now that you see people like me were right all along you go back to some nonsense about us wanting the country to fail because we are racists? Pretty sad!

Obama IS failing - he's failing every day. He can't help but fail considering the people he has hired.
Unless he is succeeding - but he is only succeeding if he didn't run as president for the masses of ordinary people who voted for him but was running instead for the banks. He went in with a Democratic majority, tried to be a consensus builder and not a leader and there was just no consensus to be had. The people gave him power based on what he promised them and he didn't use the power and he didn't keep the promises - nor did he even bother to explain why he was not able to.

Very true as is the Democrats controlled both the Senate and the House that created that law and voted it in law. Economy was one of the worst things that happened under Nixon. Even Nixon said in 1971, "we are all Keynesians now" and slapped on price controls to stop inflation. What a moron.

Republicans historically go on as bad or worse spending sprees. You can't make this a Democrat only thing. Dem/Rep is NOT the problem. It's both of them because of the class of people both sides represent. On side is spending sprees, big business and gay marriage and the other is spending sprees, big business and no gay marriage.

Problem is being Progressive (Marxist) and wanting a European style (Marxist lite) economy with permanent under class as the surfs while limiting middle income earners as much as possible. Problem is when you run out of other people's money, and then run out credit that you have enslaved your children and their future children to. What to do? What to do?

Enough about the late great America. Tell me what the tax rates are for those earning more then $250K @ year and what the top Canadian corp tax rates are? Is Canada managing to balance her own books? If not, why not? The top tax bracket set lower or higher then $250K?

Actually the Federal Employees (which I use to be, not that long ago) are earning (pay plus benefits) twice what private industry jobs are paying (pay plus benefits). Doesn't that strike you kinda odd that the workers are being paid less then those who are supposedly working for them? Or is that a Marxist Nirvana?

Question is, is he really failing or is he succeeding on his objectives? He had what, 18 months as a US Senator, one term as a IL State Senator, and a community organizer before that and never was an attorney that had to make payroll even though he has his law degree so it might be gross incompetence. Or is he following along on what the global elites want in destroying America to the point where debt will be the choke collar around America's neck?

Like where? If you step back from the age old progressive propaganda that dates back to the 1960s and 1970s and take a look at what is happening, most of those who lost their jobs are males from the middle class. Guys my age may never see a real job again, no one wants to hire them. Even the minimum wage jobs aren't hiring guys in their 40's and 50's. Welcome to Obama's new America.

Just heard the US Senate is going to go with the House's FAA bill with a minor tweak. The hold up was 13 rural airports that the Feds were subsidizing ticket sales. As much as $1,000 USD for a one way ticket. Guess it will be a surprise to you that it was the evil GOP wanting to stop paying the mega rich airlines that money while the Democrats want to line the pockets of those same mega rich airlines to continue service to those 13 rural airports. Wonder which Democrat's homes are near those 13 rural airports?

The problem is with what the private sector pays. Wages in the private sector have fallen over the last three decades when adjusted for inflation. Doesn't it strike you kinda odd that workers are being paid less than their fathers made for the same job even though workers today are more productive?

The trouble with the "little green footballs" types is that they have their own definitions for English words so it becomes very difficult to have a serious conversation with them. The above is very buzzword heavy but reality light.

We are already in a situation where we have run out of "other people's money" but the "other people" is the working classes and the vampires that were sucking it have coffins on Wall St. The only way an economy can continue is if the people that do the work get the money they earned so they can spend it. This "other people's money" has been kept from them and then lent back to them but since they aren't getting paid what their work is worth they eventually don't have the money needed to maintain the economy. You are part of the "other people" and if the money was really going to the government it would be coming back because the government is "the people". Instead the money goes into the private pockets of an ever decreasing number of ultra-rich.

If he want to get a re elected for another term, He sure is failing. If he going for one term and he may have succeeding on his objectives as the worst president that he manage to destroying America and will be in the US history book after WWII chapter.

And this is exactly the point. Pay, jobs, and the older workers have taken a hit in the private sector. So to 'fix' this problem the Republican answer is pay, jobs, and older workers have to take a hit in the public sector. It's sad Obama signs on to the right-wing crap.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The problem with Obama isn't that he's a Democrat. The problem with Obama is he signs onto the 'conservative' market ideas. Reagan would be proud of Obama's actions. Kennedy not so much.
