It is impossible for the Democrat leadership not to know how unpopular celebrities are right now? Right? Yet they are parading out washed up celebrities to push the narrative that a woman never lies, and a man should be ruined without due process? Even in my circle of friends some pretty left Democrats are disgusted by this whole anti-Kavanaugh display. A lot of even the far left media are distancing themselves from the Democrat leadership here.

Are the Democrats really trying suicide?

Of course, Democrats are unsatisfied with the FBI's findings because the FBI found nothing. They want another investigation. On that point, I actually agree with them. Once Kavanaugh is officially confirmed, perhaps there should be another investigation — an investigation into Christine Ford, her attorneys, and Senate Democrats. There is plenty of smoke to indicate that this was all a highly-coordinated political hit job. If it was — indeed, if there was any coordination at all, in any form — then this would be one of the great scandals in American political history.

This, I think, is true. The past two weeks have seen substantial GOP advances in enthusiasm and it has seen some struggling GOP candidates in Senate races move into a lead. I think the people trying to stop Kavanaugh have overplayed the #MeToo hand to the extent that they are demanding that fundamental values, like “proof,” and “presumption of innocence,” and “fair play,” have all been kicked to the curb in the service of making women a privileged class who presumably can neither lie nor be challenged.

When the books are closed on the 2018 mid-term, I think we will look back and see that this was the point where the GOP base realized the what was at risk and realized their personal stake in keeping these loonies from gaining power.

Lawyer: Ford Won’t Seek More Investigations into Kavanaugh

Debra Katz, attorney for Christine Blasey Ford, revealed Friday that her client will not urge lawmakers to further investigate allegations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

In a sit-down interview with CNN chief political correspondent Dana Bash, Katz said Ford does not want Democrats to pursue allegations against Kavanaugh if they retake Congress in November. “Professor Ford has not asked for anything of the sort. What she did was to come forward and testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee and agree to cooperate with any investigation by the FBI, and that’s what she sought to do here,” said Katz.

Asked if Ford would like Democrats to consider bringing impeachment hearings against Kavanaugh, Katz responded with a simple “no.”

The political weapon proved to be non-fatal, at least to the intended target. It may end up being fatal to the modern progressive/globalist/communist/leftist platform. The Democrat Party itself is mortally injured. Would be nice if it could die out like the Whig Party did with maybe the Libertarian Party taking it's place.
 
Maher: ‘Scary’ That Things Have Changed From ‘Listen’ To Women Who Say They Were Wronged ‘To Automatically Believe’

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that it is worrisome that standards on claims of sexual misconduct seem to have changed from the right position of “listen to any woman who says she’s been wronged,” into “automatically believe.”

Maher stated, “I do think that when Trump said, ‘It’s a very scary time for young men,’ yes, let’s get out the world’s smallest violin. But…it does seem like things have morphed from, listen to any woman who says she’s been wronged, which is the right thing to do, to automatically believe. That’s what’s scary.”

Still with the "world's smallest violin" nonsense. Maher is still a moron, but overall he is correct here.

Let's see one of his sons get famous and be blatantly falsely accused of rape. Will he still use the "smallest violin" comment?

Some anti-Kavanaugh protesters were paid to help make 'viral moments,' Vice News editor says

Advocacy groups paid protesters opposing the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court to help create "viral moments," including the now-famous elevator confrontation of Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., a top editor for Vice News claimed Sunday.

Shawna Thomas, appearing on ABC News' "This Week," said a lot of protesters were "normal people who were mad" about Kavanaugh's nomination. However, she also added that "we also saw people who were organized." She singled out one of the women who confronted Flake on Sept. 28, saying that one of them worked for the advocacy group UltraViolet and "was paid" to "steer people in the right ways to be able to confront senators."

When "This Week" host Jonathan Karl tried to clarify, Thomas added: "There were people who were paid by organizations like UltraViolet, to -- to try to harness that energy in a way that would make the viral moments that we ended up seeing."
