45 Pennsylvania Teachers Resign over Students’ Violent Behavior
Forty-five teachers in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, resigned during the past few months because, they claim, students acted violently towards them.
The unprecedented number of resignations in the Harrisburg School District prompted some teachers with the Harrisburg Education Association (HEA) to ask the school board Monday for more support in dealing with unruly students, WPMT reports.
The HEA claimed that students’ unruly behavior caused at least 45 teachers to resign between July and October, and members of the teachers’ union say that more resignations have taken place since then.
“Teachers and students are being hit, kicked, slapped, scratched, cussed at … and observing other students flip over tables, desks, and chairs. Teachers have had to take the rest of their class into the hallway to protect them during these outbursts,” HEA President Jody Barksdale told the Patriot-News.

Philadelphia is mulling a ban on bulletproof glass in neighborhood stores, but many shopkeepers are not too thrilled about the idea.
The city council’s Public Health and Human Services Committee approved a bill Monday that would allow Philadelphia’s Department of Licenses and Inspections to get rid of the bulletproof barriers that separate customers from cash registers in the city’s stores, often located in crime-ridden areas.
“No establishment required to obtain a Large Establishment license … shall erect or maintain a physical barrier that requires the persons serving the food either to open a window or other aperture or to pass the food through a window or other aperture, in order to hand the food to a customer inside the establishment,” the bill states.
Neighborhood store owners say they are outraged at the bill’s passage because they feel unfairly targeted and are concerned for their safety if they do not have a bullet-resistant border protecting them.
“If the glass comes down, the crime rate will rise and there will be lots of dead bodies,” Rich Kim, the owner of Broad Deli, told WTXF. “The most important thing is safety and the public’s safety.”
Kim said the glass protected his mother-in-law from being attacked by someone wielding a knife, and he is concerned that without it, he would be more vulnerable to attacks.
He added that ban would not be as much of an issue if he were confident the police would ensure his safety in the event of an attack.
Kim is not alone in his disdain for the bill. About 230 Asian beer deli owners who feel singled out by the proposal are also protesting the bill.
City Councilwoman Cindy Bass, the bill’s sponsor, argues that removing the glass would remove any “indignity” for shoppers.
“We want to make sure that there isn’t this sort of indignity, in my opinion, to serving food through a Plexiglas only in certain neighborhoods,” Councilwoman Bass said.
The bill is set for a full council vote December 14.

Sadly, this is not an isolated incident.”

‘Bike Lock’ Antifa Professor Soon To Be Dropping Soap In Prison Showers
The Antifa-aligned professor accused of assaulting Trump supporters with a bicycle lock will be headed to court two months from now, following a postponement.
Eric Clanton, a professor of philosophy, ethics, and critical thinking at Diablo Valley College, was arrested in May for using a bike lock to beat three people senseless during a free speech rally at Berkeley in April this year.
Police acknowledged that they caught Clanton with the aid of Internet activists who did most of the legwork identifying him as the suspect behind “several violent assaults” at the Civic Center Park on Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Three people received what police referred to as “significant injuries” as a result of the assaults.
In photos circulating on social media, Clanton was pictured donning a hoodie and bandana, with a pair of dark sunglasses, shortly before the assaults. He was identified by members of the image forum 4chan, who examined hundreds of images and videos taken at the rally and prior events, and compared the attacker to other attendees.

Don Jr.’s wife opened an envelope addressed to her husband around 10 a.m. in their apartment on East 54th Street in Manhattan, according to the New York Post.
The envelope contained a white, powdery substance, law enforcement officials said. Vanessa Trump was taken to hospital as a precaution. Law enforcement have not yet concluded what the substance was.

Wiley described being the first black person charged with the magnitude of a presidential portrait as a “huge responsibility” in an interview with the Guardian last year.
Obama hand-selecting the artist for such a responsibility became a stir of controversy due to the artists propensity for depicting racial violence toward white people.
Many of Wiley’s projects are inspired from classical European works of biblical scenes, replacing the white characters with black models. His beheading paintings are based on Judith beheading Holofernes, or the oppressed beheading the oppressor.
The presidential portrait will be on display at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C.

CNN Expert Defends School Shooters Against President Trump
“In a tweet Thursday, President Donald Trump described someone who would shoot up a school as a ‘savage sicko,'” CNN reported last week, adding, “And at a White House briefing Thursday, the President again used the term ‘sicko.'”
To attack Trump over this, the news site quotes Diana Rose, one of the article’s “experts,” who defends the Parkland, Florida, killer with the risible claim that the president is “insulting” a mass-murderer.
“Rose said that calling the shooter a ‘sicko’ is ‘insulting’ and ‘mean-minded,'” CNN writes.
That is a direct quote from CNN — “calling the shooter a sicko is insulting and mean-minded.” Keep in mind that this CNN expert is not saying that calling the mentally ill names is detrimental to the mentally ill’s mental health, but she says that calling a school shooter names is insulting and mean. In other words, CNN’s go-to expert is defending a school shooter, a monster responsible for the deaths of 17 defenseless people, from insults and mean-mindedness.
Another CNN expert compares Trump’s use of the word “sicko” to using the N-word and adds that it is “disrespectful.”
“How helpful is calling a black person the n-word? Not only is it disrespectful, it fans racism,” Pat Corrigan told CNN.
Again, this CNN expert is not talking about the effect of name-calling on the mentally ill in a psychological or sociological sense. This is an expert scolding Trump for being “disrespectful” to school shooters; this is about condemning Trump for “insulting” a mass-murderer because it is akin to calling a black person the N-word.
CNN then appears to go so far as to ask us to sympathize with an alleged mass-murderer:

The shooter, Nikolas Cruz, struggled with depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and autism, according to a 2016 Florida Department of Children and Families report. But having a mental health diagnosis does not mean he would become violent, many experts say.
